Joracle:

Hats off to you. :)

I think your test was fair and, by providing the answers, helpfull.

I have to admit that, while taking the test and seeing that wrong answer come up all too often in the command section, I too thought some of your answers were opinionated.

The good news is I want to lear to play woodsball well, so I swallowed my pride and took some time to consider your answers. I'm a little older than the average player so I know that in woodsball, as in life, choices aren't always black and white -- there are many different options with some being better than others. After running the scenario again in my head I could see the wisdom of your answers.

It may be a long while before I have enough points to make lieutenant -- I'm a crpl now -- but it's never to soon to learn and improve my game.

Thanks

Oh, btw, I scored a 73.

passed first try with a 96%.  It stinks though because I am only a master sergeant and have a long way till I have the points for an officer rank.  I think that passing the test early should give you some points to help you achive that officer promotion.

"I concur." That would be very helpful because being a corporal and not much money to go play very often or buy stuff from the store, that could be very helpful to get points from passing the test.

I got a 64% on the test (got thrown off in the beginning and couldn't pull back up in time) VERY well layed out test. Very insightful too! :)

"...a heap of points..."

I feel your pain.

The good news is that by the time we get up there in points we'll be soo much better players than we are now. (Sometimes, if you take a second look, you'll find a silver lining.) :)

It was fun ....
Kinda stunk being in the 90's until the Commander questions of classic CTF ......hell, I haven't even seen a CTF game in 5 years  :D

Very close (high 70's), but no cigar ....

But the questions make a lots more sense what you understand what the Spec Ops field looks like.

No Capture the Flag in 5 years... that's just about all we play on the SpecOPS field. That and a little Center Flag.

What type of games do you customarily play?

Usually down here it's Elimination, Base tag, VIP (get yr VIP to the other base), rescue/recovery (find a hidden object on the field & take it to the other teams base), some "rabbit" games (5 guys go hide on the field, everyone else goes after them..... if a rabbit shoots you, you become a "rabbit", but when a rabbit is hit, they are out) ..... but primarily a lot of us are scenario/big game players.

I'm usually playing 1 game a week & 1 scenario month when I'm home .... but even the weekly games are with 75-150 players...... so it will just take a while to get used to the small-squad tactics ....no biggie.

How long does it take for your rank to change ... if you have enough points before you take the test, and then pass the test with an 80 or higher.

I notice that some of the guys who passed still show as "Command Sergeant", but if you search by rank, they will come up under Lieutenant.
If you click on their "View Page", then the LT rank shows.

I got 79% but that does not mean anything. I believe I am a great leader on the field and a test does not need to tell me that. Whats important to a leader ona field is the ability to ACT. With that they may know everything, but they are nothing, no help to anyone.

Plus, keep in mind that our test is a test of the Special Ops style of woodsball™. Study up on our site and you can easily pass your first or second time.

Well, I probably shouldn't have taken it since I'm only a seargent but I did out of curiosity and passed with an 85% I'm surprised I passed but then again after going throught the tactics manual it was a lot easier than I thought it would be.
