Here's my baby/Frankenstien monster Spyder Compact Deluxe. Haven't seen anything like it before. I like to do things a little bit more old school.
By the way, BYU that is a nice cqb spyder. My only question is how does it look with a hopper on it?

Upgrades:
Smart Parts 14 inch ported barrel;
JCS folding stock;
Cheap red dot site from Wal-Mart;
Air thru Foregrip w/ all the neccessary hosing and ASA;
And last but not least a Matte Black paint job (the thing was originally silver)

It looks decent - I cut down the elbow and the feedneck on the gun and dropped the hopper about 2 inches down and 1 inch in so it is closer to the gun. Next on the list is one of those clamping feednecks made for the MR series.

This is my Spyder Imagine MP5 SD6 mod, i saw a pic on this gallery and bought a Well MP5SD6 AEG at Airsplat for $25 and it took me about 10 hrs to make it fit, the internals are all stock, i didn,t want to change or drill holes into it. I think it came out pretty good.

Update on my TL-X:

Ups:

14" Smart Parts Teardrop barrel
IPI 3.0 trigger frame
Dye sticky grips
Trinity T-lock feedneck
Spring kit

So far, $100 CDN worth of marker and used parts (only the feedneck was new). Including the $40 Halo B I picked up, it makes for a pretty nice budget set-up. It shoots WAY better than my Tippman Custom Pro.

Not done with it yet but here is my MR1 getting the work over to make it a WW2 SMG style gun...

The first pic is the type I'm going for. Mine has a non retracting wire type shoulder stock, a barrel shroud, front plug and the factory stock's insert cut off and now a flush plug, I used the safty's hole as a mounting point as well as the hole I drilled in the rear of the grip frame, ground the steel rods flat the length of the frame to help keep it mounted real good and solid.
I just need to curve the butt of it to fit mu shoulder better.
I'm going to run a remote line only on it.

Need to get me a new single trigger.
Skate board tape on the front grip.
Finish the stock.
Get a set of Punisher Skull 1911 grips....

What do you think ?
