yeah I thought about a bull pup design to because you could have all the range with half the length.

Yeah and that is a good idea about scanario vests.

This idea is a giant q loader. See its a backpack with a tube going out of it which leads to your hopper so you never nead to reaload and buy pods. That remote through vest sounds pretty cool. Also i think some may say this is jumping the line bu what if special ops makes it own gun. Like everything you want and nothing you dont. I would come great stock and have a5 or autocoer threading.

Thanks - hopefully SpecOps/Cops911 can make some "themed" styled vests. Not only would I buy a couple (never know if I'm in the mood to play Russian, Amerian or German) but I'm sure it might encourage others to dress the part in themed scenario games.

As others have said before me, sorry if this idea has already been suggested.

For a mod for the A5, I was thinking about a cheap/less intricate version of a Q-Loader. Now, one of the big pros of the Q-Loader is it removes the stock hopper out of your field of vision and gives your marker a tighter profile. Other alternatives to this problem has been the TacCap loader - reduced sight profile, but reduced capacity (50 balls max). My idea has the same simplicity of a TacCap for reduced profile, but borrows the manner of higher hopper capacity from the Q-Loader.

Basically, you would take a 140 rnd pod and cut a hole in the end the diameter of the cyclone feed so that you could attach the pod in a horizontal position to the a5. It would have the same profile as the TacCap but with increased capacity extending to the rear.

In more detail, and for people who, like me, have a poor 3D imagination:

- Take 140 pod and hold horizontally on the cyclone side of your A5, the lid pointed toward the rear of the marker (lid hinge up), and the end of the pod sitting over the feeder. A hole the diameter of the cyclone would be cut into the bottom side of the pod.
-For an adaptor between the pod and feeder, a piece of PVC/plastic plumbing pipe could be fashioned to fit snuggly inside the cyclone feed and cut and glued to fit the contour of the pod. This would make the connection a bit more solid and also allow a couple more balls to be sitting in the feeder, raising the profile by a few cms.
-The pod will be fixed on an angle of a few degrees so that when the marker is held in the firing position, balls will roll into the feeder.
-Some sort of fixture would also have to be added to the rear of the marker to anchor the pod, so the weight of the pod when full of balls won't put unnecessary stress on the cyclone and maybe twist it off.
-For reloading, the pod might want to have an adaptor scoop on the end to allow for easier feeding, or be pre-molded with a wider mouth, but still with a sealable lid. To reload, the user would point the marker barrel to the ground so the rear of the marker and feeder pod lid are pointing up. Open up feeder pod, insert more balls, then close lid and return marker to firing position.

Now obviously there a few inconveniences with the design:

*marker still only has approx 140 rnd capacity.
*marker can't be reloaded while user is firing the marker.
*might make marker less durable (that would depend on how well it was made).
*balls are only gravity fed, and may not feed as readily into cyclone when marker is bouncing around.
*feeder pod might interfere with manual load rod for cyclone feeder.

But I think these issues are negligible if the system is designed right. It couldn't be any less fragile than a Q-loader; would feed just as efficiently as any other gravity loader when firing from a stationary position; would not interfere with marker sights much like the TacCap; and as for the need to load whilst shooting, I imagine there is the same issue with the Q-Loader. I don't think it would take too long to get accustomed to using.

Overall, I think the idea works, and is something that a motivated person could fashion from readily available items without too much difficulty. Will post pictures when I attempt to do this myself.

Well, not to burst your bubble, but because it required two wheels and a conveyor belt, it would probably break down more often than a standard agitated hopper, and wouldn't feed as fast. Also, if a paintball goes in from the other side and has bad timing, it will break in the hopper and ruin all of your accuracy. It would also need more energy because it uses two wheels, not one.

I decided not to read the whole 52 pages of posts so I'm sorry if someone has already posted this idea. After looking at a G36 body kit for my A-5 the other day I realized that on the website they always modeled the gun with a Tac-Cap hopper. I was thinking about using a stock A-5 hopper on mine when i realized that they were using the Tac-Cap because once again that stupid A-5 hopper gets in the way of anything that sits on top of the gun. This also plagues people who want to use a sight but don’t want to offset it or get the Stovepipe hopper offset. Now instead of offsetting the sight or offsetting your hopper at that awkward angle with the Stovepipe, why doesn't Tippmann or Spec Ops or some other third party company make a hopper that is the exact same size as the stock hopper except make it flat on the gun side (the left side if you’re sighting down the gun). Don't bother bulge out the right side to make up the ball capacity because flattening the left side would hardly decrease the ball capacity at all. Flattening it would allow much better sighting down the barrel with a sight and allow handrails and other accessories to be added much easier. This would be a simple and cheap solution to an annoying problem.

And then you either have to get a motor for it which will decrease ball capacity or hold it on an angle to make sure that the balls feed. I doubt anyone looking for mil-sim products is going to get something that makes them hold their marker in a fashion that nobody in the military uses often enough to keep the paintballers from looking like loons and wining only because the opposition was laughing too hard to pay attention, something that a terrorist would never do, further decreasing the mil-sim experience.

Didn't read all 52 pages, sorry if this has been said.

I think Special Ops should make some woodsball bumper stickers. I'd buy them, even though I don't own a car.

I've been trying to think some up, here's what I have so far... A few of them are improvements/changes to other stickers I've seen.

"My other car is a razorback"

"If you can read this, you're close enough for a barrel tag"

"Don't Cut Down the Trees! We need someplace to play woodsball."

"I can gogg your Honor Student"

"Driver carries no money, paintballs are expensive"

You could also have stickers for the different positions, a sticker with the special ops logo, brigade logo, etc.
