Dude, I don't mean to make all of that writing go to waste, but it isn't illegal. It is illegal to have a silencer that can be mounted to the end of the barrel on a firearm. If it can't fit on the end of the barrel, it's perfectly fine. I mean, he's not even saying to go to extreme measures to silence it. It's not like a carbon fiber, which is perfectly legal. Even here in New Jersey, where the extreme left-wingers are trying to pull the plug on paintball, my marker comes with a stock ported barrel. I don't even have to buy an after-market quiet barrel! Use your head, man. Why doesn't Special Ops stop selling carbon fiber barrels if it's illegal?

P.S.
Please don't take this as s flame. I just need to put these reasons for my side in this tone so more people come to my side. :P :D But seriously. :dodgy:

But a Qloader is complex and cumbersome to keep loaded, whereas something that augmented the stock Cyclone feed at half the capacity of the stock hopper with a lower profile has some real appeal.

have you ever used a qloader? its just like a clip system for a marker. you're finished with one pod, you attach another. its not that complicated. and loading them is very easy and quick. i have one for my A5 and it workes VERY well.

Yes. I have a Qloader (for my Spyder). The 5-pod system with the pack. Changing pods on the gun is quick and easy, but after one shoots through all the Qpods, it takes a hell of a lot longer to reload all 5 of them than it would to refill 5 140s -- be serious.

And a Qpod with it's bracket definitely add weight over a Cyclone and a stock A-5 hopper.

And you actually have to make sure you wind the damn things correctly or you mess up the torsion spring inside.

And they're a pain to wash.

And they're expensive to replace.

Other than that, they're great. And the do feed paintballs like crazy.
Sigs aren't actually allowed on the Special Ops Forum, so I don't have one.

Do you use the qloader loader that the system comes with? that 500 round loader? if you do, bad idea. buy an inexpensve old electric feed hopper, it fits right into the crank feed. i can load 5 qloaders just as fast as my friends can load 5 140 round pods (without a podloader of course).

yes, i have one on my A5 and i admit it is heavy, but if you have an A5 you can just buy a sling which takes alot of weight off. i have no problem carrying mine and its absolutely comfortable.

i've never had a problem with winding, and i've only heard of a few situations in which they screwed up. but i do understand they can be a FEMALE DOG to deal with.

throw them in the dishwasher. not that big of a pain.

oh yeah, that lifetime guarantee that will replace ANY broken qloader parts, including the qloaders themselves, for free is sooooo expensive.

What about an A-5a2 foregrip with a socket for the 98 grip stubble? I know it probably sounds ridiculous, but Special Ops has the adapter bracket to allow the A-5a2 stock on the 98, and I have seen Opsgear make an accessory M-4/M-16 magazine that uses this design. Here's a link:

An A-5a2 foregrip built around that. That way, you could make the 98a2.

I'm quite sure that I've heard this idea many times.
But it happens. : )

Jupsuits in SO "jungle stalker" digital woodland, ideally with shoulder/ID pockets and other tactial features like the Marauder 2s. Even an Ultralite coverall would be totally cool (pun intended) -- and with no belt loop or crappy waist adjuster problems for you guys, either...

I'm not sure I'd personally go for that, but people who own fields would buy hundreds of those in the first week for camo rentals.

Big monetary plus for Special Ops.

I have an Idea.
What if Special ops designs their own Cyclone Feed Loader.
I was thinking, If they made a mod kit that included an electronic cyclone loader
and an electronic upgrade kit, they could make an A-5 shoot 5x faster.
Just a thought though.

How about, when Special Ops has some serious free time, a trigger that can fire in automatic without electronics. I know everyone is going to scoff at this( unless you have some serious mental problem, them I'm scared) . But instead of it being built around a semi-automatic trigger, try building it around a non-electronic trigger like those used in plastic toy M-16's. They use a device that moves in a revolution when the trigger is pulled and uses levers to make the clicky sound. How about that, where ech time a lever hits a pressure point, the thing fires. Then, install some kind of restraint so that, when desired, it will only fire semi-auto. Now, if Special Ops makes this, then I'll read every single solitary letter in the five pages of scoff that will follow this post. You may begin making fun of the idea...

I'm sure this has been posted before, but I don't feel like reading through 35 pages.

My idea is a 98-to-A5 adapter for stocks. It will go in the 98 just like a normal stock, exept instead of being a stock, it's just like the back end of an A5 where the stock goes. Theres a hole for the endcap to go, and holes for the pins. This would save SpecOps a lot of money by not having to make two different models of the same stock with one different part. I'm sure it wouldn't cost that much, and would generate more money because people would buy the stock and the adapter. It would also allow for easier storage and transportation for 98c owners (which would be great) because we could just pull 2 pins and out comes the stock.
I hate stupid people.

This would be great for anyone who doesn't have a bps counter.
What if SpecOps made their own bps counter that fit on the end of a barrel
and ran off a 9 volt or something?
I know I would use it if I hade one.
<_< Dunno If it's practical though.

I came up with this yesterday, do you ever have troublr getting your barrel sock or plug out of your pocket or whatever and putting it on your barrel? I know I really do when there is a huge firefight and you get hit and just putting your gun up isnt enough, thats where this comes in. I was thinking of something that permanetly stays on the end of your barrel and you can just switch it open or closed kind of like a water valve It could look like a fake surpressor, a muzzle break, or anything really. And for night games it could light up red and flash when you turn it on. Just a though :D

The Cyclone system uses excess air from the marker to power it, making it battery powered would just be a waste of a battery and everyone's time. the cyclone system will load however fast the marker shoots, and thats up to the trigger system. no modification is needed to the cyclone system when you add an E-Trigger because the cyclone loads however fast the trigger fires. IMO, the cyclone is useless, just provides a big target when you try to snapshot. i replaced mine with a qloader, it reduced my profile and made my marker a smaller target.

you don need a BPS counter. just put 100 rounds in your marker, fire for 5 seconds, count how many balls you have left in your hopper, divide the # of rounds missing by 5 and you've got your BPS.

Picanny mount that replaces the A5 front grip. Utilizes the bolt holes in the A5 and wraps around the bottom of the marker where the grip would be. Allows you to add any vertical grip that fits picanny rails or other accessories.

Never seen it myself if it has been done. Thanks
