I guess you could call it self cleaning !!! The paint that breaks just gets pushed out the side vent holes. That in turn cleans the barrel out of any breakage of the paint in the barrel.

I use the J & J ceramic 14"on the 98c and the A5 and i love these barrels and their accuracy that they give me in playing the game.

Can't beat the price on them either !!

Wrong.

In my experience, that never happened.

It is extremely picky with paint. The last two times I've played with it it's chopped every third shot from Wally World. My experience with it has been nothing but sucky. Only plus side is that it's extremely quiet.

94% of the people on this forum have an annoying statistic in their signature. If you think that's ridiculously stupid, or even if you're a part of the 0.5% that couldn't care less, put this in your sig.

No offence......... but your the first person that I've ever heard say that................. B)

Yes. It's picky in paint choice. BUT, if you get medium grade paint it works exceptional...... B)

I have to agree, in the choice of paint you use. That to me is a common problem with most amrkers these days when you look at different boards and so on.

The J & J does not clean the barrel out completely !! It just pushes the excess paint left from the broken ball out the side vents. You still have to clean it out eventually, but it will allow you to shoot some more before you do. just my experience with it is all

Anything over 12' will just make EVERYTHING worse..........

Ask anybody on here who doesn't frequent the sniper section..........

I just got a 16" J&J from Actionvillage.com ( at the time of order, 14" were all out:( and I got desperate)

I was stepping up from the stock barrel and i noticed a definate change in sound, accuracy and consistency.

I still had the same range(obviously) but I found that each shots were more close together than with the 8.5". As for noise, it was really quiet and have a more muffled tone which allowed me to be "conceal" myself easier.

Overall, for the 30-50 bux I paid for the barrel, it was definately worth it and I am looking forward to buy the 14".

Thats what happens when you buy El Cheap O' paint from Wal-Mart.

Chopping would be either your paint is too big, your are shooting too fast or the paint is warped (ie. oblong shaped). I've never used Draxxus paint, so I don't know if it's a good fit for the J&J or not.

Hey all,

Great review .

I have 2 of these . 12" for an A5 , 14" on a cyclone 98c . Length choice just based on what they had in stock .

No worries with either one . I won't mention specific barrels ,but I have quite a few and have tested many more. It really holds it own against anything I've tested, and you can't beat the price . I like the matte finish and lightweight. Not sure about scratching , don't really notice any ,but my markers aren't wall hangers. Like any barrel, paint to bore match is important for optimal performance. I choose fresh ,premimum paint properly matched and have no problems .

Take care~

I have a 14" jnj and right now I'm having trouble with finding a perfect bore match. Currently the paint I'm using now is called Kick'n, and the paint is just rolling through the barrel..and acording to this, these paintballs should be a perfect fit. What does everyone else use?

Evils are probably the best paint I've used with a J&J. TC Venoms are good too.
