Just another happy customer. The vest ROCKS !!! Just to add alittle to what Vector said. I've owned mine now for 5 months, and I've abused it. I've been crawling around on my belly, rolling in the dirt, and had the thing covered in paint. I know, I should have ducked. At the end of the day I empty the pockets, throw it in the wash, and hang to dry. Just Like New. This is the first vest that I've owned and I can't imagine playing woodsball without it now. Enjoy!!!

I agree. I've only had my vest for about 2 games, but it carries everything I need to play all day. They say it won't hold much bigger than a 92/4500, but my 114/3000 fits comfortably, and next week I'll see if it fits with a tank cover on. Overall, Great product Robert!!!!!! I would gladly pay the $$ for another. I think I'll get the Recon next.
Thanks,

Sgt CJ

From what I've read, heard, and seen, this vest is GREAT!

But my problem is: I generally don't have one position I play. I'm often the commanding officer, but I don't stay back and issue orders a lot: I like to play too.

My question is this: What of the Position Vests would be best for someone who plays everything from dagger to sniper to hammer and back again?

I really like the all-mesh design of the recon vest, but I like the smallness of the Dagger vest, but then again I like the hauling-capacity of the Hammer vest, and I like the open-ness of the sabre vest. I'm leaning twoards the broadsword vest, but I really don't know which would be the most versatile.

I'm afraid the recon is too mesh-y and will snag on thorns more than I like, and the dagger seems too small to carry enough paint sometimes, the Hammer seems to be too hot/big, and the Sabre vest seems like I couldn't carry my command gear (LARGE radios, maps, pen's, binoculars, etc) actually on the vest (The pocket's look real small).

I hope someone can help me out, preferably someone who's tried more than just one of the aforementioned vests.

Thanks in advance guys.

Ok I have not tried it out yet but I say saber vest and here is a link to someone who has used it. I believe the utility pouches are 8 by 8 so if your gear can fit in that you should be fine. As for the radio I think you can change out the one that comes with it or get a different one if you order from COPS 911.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, thanks for that.

I think I'll get the Sabre vest. I generally don't shoot more than 7 pods in a 12 hour game (though the two times I've played Hammer I used 8 140-round pods in one hour), and in 24+ hour games we have re-supplies.

I'll pm the thread-starter of that link you posted and ask if it would hold my big radios and smoke-nades.

Thanks for that link, though. It was very much appreciated.

adding my 2cents

i loved the vest
everything from the interlocking velcrow waist strap, to the incredable amount of paint it holds
i have found out in the 2 scenarios ive been to since ive gotten the vest ive found i can hold 1000 rnds of paint, which is about the capacity of my 20 oz, along with 2 pods for a team mate, when im wearing the vest i dont even notice the extra weight between empty pods and a full load. the camel pac i bought for my vest works perfectly, the pac is made by nalgeine, and had a magnet that fit perfectly onto one of the straps on the vest. i love how the pod system works compaired to my old pod pack where pods would fall out all the time. the other thing i loved about this is its relitivly low profile, which helped a lot in the west point scenario i went to, i was in a stickly situation, 1 time i was able to hide behind almost nothing and get away

over all GREAT VEST i would segest it all the way for anyone who needs to cary a large load for a long time

On the standard Broadsword, the pod holders are sewn on...so no, you can't remove them. On a custom made Broadsword, the pods could be made up of (3) doubles for instance and Interlocked in place so that they were removable.

The Digi (Jungle Stalker) is a more expensive material so vests made with it cost more. The Digi Broadsword thru Spec Ops also reflects a $7 increase over the other colors.

As for that, the pockets could hold the radio, but there is a radio pouch which is pretty decent sized. As for the smoke grenades, give me some measurements and ill check it out. I am that thread starter :)

Yes, just make a note about it in the comments section that you want the pods to be interlock velcro'd on. Or call them and tell them what you want.
