I just bought a Brass Eagle, not sure what the make is. I use Co2 and when i cock and fire it triple fires like its an empty tank but iv used multiple new and refilled tanks to make sure and it does it every time, anyways after it triple fires it wont self cock, I have to pull the mechanism back every time to fire and it triple fires every time. any help? im not mechanically inclined on how these work so detailed instructions would be very appreciated!

Remove the air and fire it a couple of times. Then take it apart and check the o-rings. If they're fine then it may be the cup seal.

Btw... can you post a pic of it? We might be able to find an owners manual for it.

If you use the full editor ratherbthan the quick reply button you should find an option to attach a file.

There were some issues with it a while back and I don't recall if it's been fixed. If not, set up an account on Photobucket.com. Once you upload it there you can paste a link.

Melted? Haha! That's awesome, never seen that before.

There might be some gunk in the body from the o-rings. I don't remember if it's a metal body or not. If it is metal you can use a bit of degreaser followed by soap and water. If it's plastic use hot soapy water and a bottle brush.

Once that's done add a few more drops of oil to each o-ring.

Baby bottle brush. They're a lot cheaper and easier to find. They also have 2 ends: a large bottle brush and a small nipple brush. The small side is great for nooks and crannies.
