Ok, so I wanted one of those air gun desings lowerd hopper or a q-loader and didn't have the money (still don't).
So I experimented with my cyclone to find it had plenty of power to push balls virticaly. I then hacked and plastic welded my 98 cyclone adapter to form a smoth 90 degree turn upward. I made a bracket from alluminum that mounts between the grip and asa. The bracket extends forward and right to hold the feeder at a point where it is 4 or 5 inches down and 1 inch to the right. This gave me the field of vision I wanted and gave my 98 the perfect profile.
Front grip removed, TIPPMANN 98 CUSTOM removed and smothed off the side, hand checkered slimline cherrywood 1911 grips, finnished hith a custom wood brown paintjob.
This mod works so well ( even with my supper rt) that I had to make a setup for my A-5. This mod started with some training saw magizines we found at an ex airforce base we played once in Victorvill.
I just hacked and welded the saw boxes to hold the cyclone sideways. It needed a middleplate to keep the balls above the cyclone and not beside or under.
I realy think you could inexpensivly (at least no high dollar aircraft alu.) Manufacture the A-5 saw box mod. It is also perfect for scenario players who dislike the look of a hopper on top of their marker.
The saw box could probibly be a universal kit for suveral tippmans or bts. Minor changes and it coulg replace any cyclone or similarly powerd loaders.
Finaly, I'm only on mobile and don't know how to post pics yet.. soon I will try and bring a poll with pics or best yet video proof for the non-believers.
Also I used to be commandocraig and am wundering if my old review of the T-8 extended mags is what prompted the change for the extra notch to hook the ball pusher more securly.

And here are some bad pics of the saw box dropped feed only mocked on my A-5. A few of the inside to give a (hopefully) better idea of how it works.
Please, note. This one is a total hackjob just to prove concept and function. The 98c dropped feed, however has been used in testing and game play, with only a box and a half but, no breaks in game. I gues thats what testing is for.
Did you notice the 18 months of dust?

Ive been a big fan of do it yourself inovations, this one is now near the top of my list.
Nothing difficult, outrageous or requiring access to machinging tools.
Words are difficult to me about this right now because Im mentally desiging my next SIBG (standard issue big gun) probally going to be a vehicle based design and I might have to name it the crackpot.
