Coming here more or less to get some insight. I already have some great ideas. But who knows what the collective mind out there has.
So I am not looking to go all out with fiberglass or anything. I was actually thinking to stick with something along the lines of getting rubber lure cords. They are used to make your own lures. But they are basically rubber strings about 6 or more inches in length. If I tie those into the mask then I can bead the ends how ever I see fit.
So if anyone has some ideas that maybe I could use instead, that maybe more useful? Or even look better? I was also of the mindset that it needs to be easy to clean if I get paint in it.
Thanks all.

I'v seen a REALLY good dread done on a mask as:
Burlap ripped right down to the individual threading, Then the threading dreaded.
It has the "Organic" and "hair" look to it. it was very well done.

Sounds like it would have a realistic look to it. Not to knock it though, I'm trying to aim for something that is easy clean up. Burlap seems like it would soak in the paint. Although I am super happy someone posted. Thank you.

Any dreads are awesome. I have dreads on my mask. Not fancy like predator.... But still cool.

I have seen surgical tubing used in the Predator Style added to an all black Vforce Grill. Looked real close to the Predator head armor.
