Weren't you the first forum Prez? I thought the idea came about because of all the press over Obama and etc and that election. Then you got Admin/Mod right after that. Third I thought was Puz. I just dunno who was second.

I remember drama....members VS staff drama. I remember the "You're an idiot for believing in snipers" drama. The drama of the SO positions. The drama over infractions with the swear filter.

I remember most of the names listed.

I remember before Stunt was a moderator. I remember thinking that when he and Slink joined the staff that it had helped calm some of the drama. I don't know why.

But I also remember many of us who had positive things to say about the staff, and expressed our appreciation for their volunteer work with this place.

And speaking of remembering.....Hey Mods, when was the last time you had to close a non-bot thread because it got out of hand? I remember that used to happen fairly often.

Anybody remember the brief Debate Section?

A couple of months back in the general section.

I remember it all. DoN had a crazy/annoying sig.

I remember all of the above and then some.

Anyone remember the really fun (or really crazy) debates in the lounge about anything from politics to current events? I mean the real old ones pre-Ashrak (though his were fun too)

Though since iKE meant it, the debate section that was so short lived. And anyone remember the spin-off "TDF" forum elsewhere for the people who wanted to keep it running but couldn't here?

I recall a time when we had a serious discussion about the 'ModSquad' team meeting up and dominating a game.

And why havent we ever gone with the forum member shirts?

Because there was no design consensus, I believe.

Y'know.....if NAS would consider backing some of the contests that the members invented on this forum with some minor prizes or something.....That might be helpful. Or maybe it would suck the fun out of it. I dunno. But when Puz won the election and a section with his name on it was created, I thought that was an awesome idea. Kinda added some flair and validity to the contest.

I remember DoN's seizure inducing signature. I came around shortly before his melt down that got him banned. I also remember Evil Fingers became a bit of a headache.

I miss the days of the LNT. It was about the only place we could spam within reason. I forget why it got shut down originally. I just know someone got their feelings hurt and reported the activity. Several of the LNTers petitioned the mods and admins and got it back. I kind felt sorry for Puzuma since did instant notification for when the thread was post in. After the LNT got shut down again there was some drama when the members who were regulars of the thread made their own forum.
