Yeah... don't do that. Don't say that because I don't spend time practicing those things that I'm somehow lucky but you practice them so you are skilled enough to call yourself a sniper? Maybe if I pass a test on the A.C.E.S. Forum I'll be allowed to call myself a sniper then nothing I ever do will be considered lucky.
I described my feeling on the different positions earlier, sniper does happen to be one of them. It's a style, not a skill set, IMO.

Now for those of you who may be wondering, "What is a paintball Jesus?" I'll tell you. Now this is just my opinion because all of us paintball Jesuses have different definitions of what a paintball Jesus actually is. My opinion is a paintball Jesus is someone whois an expert at snap shooting, laning, and not getting shot with a paintball.
Now a paintball Jesus doesn't have to be "better" than your average player, he just has to be an expert at those elements of the game.
Now I know what your thinking, "If you'rean expert at snap shooting, laning, and not getting shot with a paintball, aren't you just an awesome paintballer?" Well no, that's not how it works we use theterm paintball Jesus to tell people what we are, experts at snap shooting, laning, and not getting shot with a paintball, not how good we are.
Some people get hung up on the name"paintball Jesus" they say "Your not really the only son of God, You cantreally perform miracles, or come back from the dead so why call yourself apaintball Jesus? Obviously we're not real Jesus, we're paintball Jesuses. We just use the name because it makes sense. See wealways respawn quickly to get back in the game so it's like coming back to lifekind of like real Jesus. We do miraculous things on the field like raise theflag when no one else can so it's like we perform miracles.
See we could use other names like "paintball Quetzalcoatl" but why bother? We didn't pickpaintball Jesus because it sounds cool or relates us to the messiah, it waschosen because it's the simplest term to describe what we do.
I hope that clears up all the negative stigmas that go with the people who call themselvesa paintball Jesus. Just remember were not better than you we are just experts.

After reviewing the video, large screen in HD, I did hit the target on the second shot, but not where I thought... It hit the top right bullseye, not that mark in the center of the sheet. (my edit gear only allows me a tiny preview in lower resolution so I could only see the target move, and assumed that was from the mark on the sheet.) But, going back and looking at my raw footage I see that I hit the target 4 times during my test (15 paintballs), and since it was so far away, I didn't know.

Im not sure what side of the "Sniper Debate" you're making fun of...but I approve either way.
he's poking fun of the sniper side, with great humor.
Can we make a Paintball Jesus Category for members? he gets it.

TPS has overhauled the rules to their event.
As of this moment, the rules have been RADICALLY overhauled to something completely different. The 400' shot is out, except in the finals. And the event is, well, a LOT more realistic.
I'll just say the timing is interesting.

My video proves that advances in technology (apex barrel) have changed what was available distance wise for paintballers. As 350 is now within reach, and 300 is a easy shot compared to traditional barrels that can't shoot that far without shooting at an illegal or unsafe fps. Oh, and that was NOT first strike rounds I used regular paint from Dick's... That I purchased in February of this year... Xball scenario woodsball paint, you can see it in the video.
I have gotten many hits that broke on long distance shots like that over the years, yes, some will bounce, but you drop four or five on someones head from that distance, with good paint. And you will get a break. My target is paper, with 1 inch of air behind it... As I didn't feel like carrying a board all the way down my driveway to give a hard background. I didn't care to prove it would break, my only point was that I could shoot that far with "paintball" accuracy.
Personally, I have hit exactly where I was aiming four times in a row before in consecutive shots during a "revolutionary war" game at my field at approximately 150 feet. So I don't think that the playing card thing is really THAT difficult, certainly not impossible. Besides, you play for best hand. A single high card or pair might win if it is windy that day...
Here is a 150 foot headshot, and a few 300+ foot eliminations during game play. Our field is different than most as we consider any hit as "out" since we don't play with refs. But, both of those long range shots did break. John said it broke on his shoulder with that heavy coat padding him. The other player was hit in the visor and it broke as well.
