hi i had a general idea but have not come up with a practical way of doing this, i play with a phenom on remote and have a pistol, i try to use both at the same time as much as possible cuz its fun, holstering or unholstering can be a pain, i was wondering if there was some way to use the grooves and make some braket system to attach my TPX to my phenom and use it both as my fore grip and a removable secondary, if i choose to (duel wield), any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated

if you have it attached via a rail system, you will need some way to secure it solidly, and by securing it in such a way, you will make it much more difficult to remove and dual weild mid-game

IMO the best two things to do would be to either secure it to the X7, without plans to remove in play, or just get a much better holster (probably the less expensive option, but idk)

im guessing for it to really work it would need mounted rails all custom built, probably can be done but would be a pain.maybe something like a dresser drawer rail? might look ugly but who cares

would be awesome to fo the fact that one hand is a phenom and the other a pistol its a pain to reload pistol, basically got to sqeeze gun between legs and use both hands, but with this, i could probably slide it back on and have my other hand for the clip, it sounds like not only would that be faster but id still have a active weapon the whole time in my phenom

you could mount a plastic holster on the bottom rail of the phenom, and have a switch or button that unlocks and swings down the holster allowing you to withdraw the tpx. then you can slide the tpx back in and swing it up to lock it in.

A magpul side mounted ar 15 mag holder might work for what you are trying to do.

Order the Quick Release Flat Top Riser and the Lapco TPX Front Block with Picatinny Rail. Screw the top of the riser to the bottom rail of the X7, slide the TPX into the QR and lock in place.

I think I kind of did this very thing with my havoc, is this what you're talking about?

If so, it's pretty easy to put together. I find it convenient to have this quick release so I can detach in a second from the main marker. With a tpx you might have to find a additional adapter to accept picatinny to picatinny top to bottom......or mount this some other way to one of the markers. I can't find the clamps I was going to post with them that would work...so if I find them I will edit the post with the clamps.
