ok so just a thought, take goblin solo cartridges, and build a marker tht is pump action, mag feed, and shots them...so pretty much just a paintball shotgun loaded with a single paintball, like a slug.

Intersting

Now do you have a plan for the pump action, homemade/converted.

Not that I know the measurments of the goblin carts but considering how close .68 is to 12gauge if one were to have the pump section of a shotgun that could be used for the majority of converstion. Add in a simple pump valve system like maybe a traccer and give the pump arm an extension then maybe.

ok i found out that the cartridges are also the barrel, so tht really just killed any chance of doing this with a governmant grant size loan.

well new idea then, barrel extentions for the cartridges, and if they arent already make then FS capable

i'm willing to bet money that an FS round will load in the goblin no problem. if need be i can hunt down through my email some pics i have of some FS rounds hand loaded into a tippmann a5 through the side port.

if you want to make your real money offer a conversion for a-5s and 98s that is a drum mag that clips onto the side of the gun and feeds the FS round in through a slightly modified right reciever (the feed port needs to be cut square in the rear for reliable feeding)

I'd support you all the way. I have had that same idea( only using gunpowder or 121 grams) but shyed away from it cause it is too close to real fire arms.

be aware of what field your going too. I know my local fields don't allow any type of shotguns because people were being dangerous and were getting too close and shotting like 10 paintballs at once out of a barrel at someone.

Some fields will not permit shotguns of any kind.

...my fields owner has a rocket launcher, that we shoot like 50 paintballs from, and sometimes from fairly close range...I think a shotgun would be allowed, awesomely enough.

He is talking about a pump action gun using the Goblin cartridge and a magazine to hold more.
One paintball per shot.
Never been to a field across the country that would not allow it.
No air tank or hopper to deal with since the Goblin is a self contained system. Good sounding idea that us very expensive to impliment.
