My tac one is leaking air out of the on/off. I added/removed shims and replaced and oiled all o-rings. Any one know what could be causing it to leak?

The leak stops a few seconds after holding the trigger down but comes back after release. I think it might be the on/off getting pushed out too far and not letting the bottom o-ring seal.

wait guide me through it:

You put oil in the ASA
screw in the tank, air it up
Dry fire a a bunch of shots off to get the excess oil through the system

When you dont have your finger on the trigger it leaks.
you pull and hold the trigger and the leak stops.
you release the trigger and it leaks again.

That sir is not your on/off pin but a leak down the power tube, When you pull the trigger the on/off seals the marker and stops the leak. when you open it up (release) air is pushed through the bolt.

Try removing shims from your Level Ten system (1 at a Time) if you get to 0 shims and the leak occurs then try to replace the O-ring in the Level ten tube.
You said you removed shims.

Was that adding or removing shims in the on/off (in that case do you have a ULT?)
or was the shims referring to the Level 10 system

I added and removed shims from both lvl10 and ult. I changed the power tube o-ring and tried all carriers with no luck, leak does not change when I put my finger in front of the bolt. The leak seems to be coming out of the main body just below the air in-lit.

then I am out of initial idea's for solutions. I'd say browse over to the "Automags Online" forums. as a forum dedicated to mags they should be able to point you in the right direction.

Can you hear the leak from a short distance away from the marker? Or do you put your ear close to the feed neck. (watch out for a sea shell effect)
