I purchased an Ion off of eBay in good condition. Any recommendations for a nice barrel around the 16" mark? Looking to make it into a Blackcell with Qloader. I have the blackcell body and stock already. Also are there any barrel options that I can use an apex 2 on it?

Most barrels are pretty decent, typically though you get what you pay for. If you find a brand new one on eBay for $10 including shipping it's not going to be quality, guaranteed. Lapco has really nice barrels + they sell Apex ready ones, I think 12" is the longest available though. Palmers makes an excellent barrel but they're heavy, you could mount an Apex to them w/ an adapter or a "tape-mod". I've shot CP, J&J, Lapco, DYE, SP & Palmers - Palmers was my favorite by far.

yup either rock a tape mod on a barrel. if your looking for a good barrel to mount a apex on i'd suggest a Flasc line of barrels.
You might look at a Custom bored barrel. so you can get a nice underbore, then grab a 3" Extension and a Apex tip adapter and Apex. that way your total barrel length with the apex will be right around 16"
with the flasc barrels your not restricted to a specific length as you can put the Apex on any end of a barrel, plus if you want it longer/short you just add or remove barrel extensions

Lapco Bigshot is Apex ready. I run the Apex2 on mine and it's the most accurate barrel I've ever used (my Bigshot is .690). Problem with the Apex2 though, is you have to buy a barrel that it comes with and take it off and put it on the new one. You can buy just the Apex 1 tip, but not the Apex 2. But definitely worth it IMO.
