So I have my CCI Micro Phantom, (a truly great dagger marker IMO) and a PBMafia Joyride pack. I really like my setup, but I need to figure out a spot to put my used 10 round tubes. One thing I did try, and this may help someone out there, is flipping them upside-down and pushing them back into the elastic loops, but it is a little hard to get the last few center tubes back in. So what do you use for empty 10 round tube storage?

You could get a dump pouch.

My plan this year is to take a pair of my BDUs up to a seamstress and have her enlarge the front pockets, sew them to the pants legs sides so they're not bouncing around or getting crushed, and maybe add a zipper to them so I can use them to dump empty TPX mags and 10rd tubes in.

The belt on your joyride pack should be able to hold a molle dump pouch. Down side to the is it will probably move around on you a bit.

If you want something a bit more solid... you could probably use something like the Spec Ops tri-mag leg pouch. I'd guess you can at least 3 (maybe 5) tubes per pouch. Or talk to MO and see about a custom leg dump pouch.

dump pouch is IMO the best option, as long as it has a high quality zipper.

I was going to use a standard MOLLE dump pouch, but it moves around too much for me. I may try whipping something up for my cargo pants pocket, but I want to make sure my pocket doesn't slide around in front of my knee when I slide into a bunker. Ouch, that would hurt! Maybe I could make a bag that fits inside my pocket so I could pull the whole shebang out instead of fishing out each tube.

I have their drop-leg dump pouch, and it ROCKS. It has flaps so tubes slide right in but can't really jump out - only (small) issue is dirt can get in if you slide lots, and some gets in the tubes (which I'm sure you don't want to pour into your gun). Doesn't take much to clean before you reload though.

I have two of their drop leg dump pouches, one Purple and the other is camo. They are perfect. Hold a crap ton of tubes. You can request it to be smaller. My wife's leg is much smaller then mine so she knew the stock pouch size was too big having tried my first one. So we gave them the dimensions we wanted and tehy made it custom to her specs. Works great.

You can also try using a front pocket or cargo pants pocket if you have one. PB mafia also makes two sizes for dump pouches, the small one holds about 10 tubes comfortably.

Well, I'm pretty sure I know what I'm going to do. I found that it is quite easy for me to load my gun, then flip the tube upside down so I can insert the rounded back end into the elastic loops from the bottom. All I had to do to achieve this was to sand off the rough molding edges so they slide like butta!

Yeah, if you take a dremel you can smooth out the little burs that stick out of every ten round tube around the rounded part at the bottom from when they are formed. I spent an hour one day doing that to all my 10 round tubes. Makes them slide in and out much easier. Plus those little nubs just annoyed me to no end, freying my elastic straps at times. LOL

Me being a perfectionist I had to make them look PERFECT, so I even heated up the rim of the tubes with a candle flame and sort of blunted the edge, so know I've got the most painful to lose 10-round tubes in history!

Perhaps not as bad as those $10-$20 brass/aluminum 10 round tubes I think having a few would be badass on the SS when it gets in, but I don't think they are being made yet...
