I have both and I would gladly pick the Deadly Wind barrel every time. It's better because it uses the freak inserts and you aren't stuck with a single bore. They cost the same as barrels, but you would have to buy the freak kit separately or just buy individual inserts.

my next barrel choice will probably be deadlywind then to try out a CF barrel, although it would be cool to get CF inserts..I really like the look of basically all CF barrels and it would go well with my dust black pump.

Been using a DW CF w/ stainless inserts for 2 years now. Wouldn't trade it for the world.

The first generation Stiffi had an issue with cotton swabs. Cotton fibers would get under the CF inside the barrel and ruin it. That's not an issue with the latest Stiffis.
