Hi, i am a proud owner of a tm-15. i was just wondering is the apex worth the money for my tm-15 and also i have my gun at the factory setting velocity wise. would it be a good idea to turn it up, i dont have a chronograph so i cant measure the velocity.

Apex's are a two sided thing, for some people they LOVE,
wait sorry,
LOVE
them. For others, like myself im not a huge fan, I prefer regular barrels. always have.
I think with the small paint coming out it would be more significant to have a smaller bored barrel with a Apex tip, ( like a freak back and a apex tipped front) or maybe a J&J barrel or CP, basically one which is in the 0.678 to 0.683 range for the control bore, instead of the cavern which is the stock bore.
as for velocity, just wait until you can get a chrono, then you know to turn it up or down.

I agree. The Apex has a Love Hate quality. I found that my Apex is not so good to paint in the winter. The stock barrel is pretty good. I now have a Carbon Fiber barrel which I love. Carbon fiber doesn't get nearly as cold as a metal barrel. The Apex 2 is out but I haven't tried that yet, again mixed reviews. My teammate just took his Apex off his BT-Assult and went back to the stock barrel and loves it. I would recommend trying one out first it you can.
HEAD SHOT!!
