I'm PUMPING!!!!!! B) But i'm stuck on a decision. I have been looking in to the Palmer Brass Barrels. but a few good buddies of mine recommend also the WGP Kaner Barrel Kit. I did a little research on both and see the ups and downs of both. but i need help. Money is hard to come by so i don't want to waste it. any advice or suggestions? thanks.

I've owned plenty of PPS markers over the years, so I have quite a bit of experience with their brass. They make a good barrel, no question, and I know some people who swear by them. Now, I don't have any gripes about their product, really, other than the fact that they don't go small enough, but personally, I'd rather go with a barrel kit than a one-piece barrel. Having a full kit with interchangeable control bores (backs, inserts, sizers, whatever) allows you to maximize your marker's consistency and efficiency by slightly underboring the paint you're shooting.

They all work, so that comes down to personal preference (and budget). I have a Freak kit that I've been using for a number of years, the last year or two inside a DW Fibur barrel. I use it because it's easy and versatile - I can use the same inserts on different guns.

sorry for a random question but this just came to mind. my stock barrel is .690. how would adding an insert affect this? say we add a .685 and it matches a majority of the paint. so it travels down the barrel. well it goes the length of the insert and hits the .690 space of the stock barrel. how would this affect the paint to barrel bore match?

Barrels that take inserts are machined for inserts in the back half. The tips are large bore. It's theories that the ball can take it's original shape and be stabilized in the tip part.

No, unfortunately you need a barrel that is bored to accept inserts (unless you want to try the iFit kit by TechT - can't speak for it though).

i'm running a Check It V2 classic. they make a bore lock kit with a number or different bore sizes .689, .687, .684, .682, and .679. so i'm tossing around that idea. money is hard to come by and i don't want to blow it you know? i really appreciate the advice and help everyone is providing. means a lot :) thanks.
