Mag compatability? T8 & 8.1

Can T8 Mags be used in the T8.1? I only ask because SO sells a mag here that is for the T8, 9 and .1, yet a friend had an 8.1 and it wouldn't fit the normal T8 mags.

I believe the T8.1 mags are backwards compatible (work in both T8.1 and T8) but the T8 mags will NOT work in the T8.1.

You can make a slight modification to the T8 mags to fit the T8.1 gun. This requires shaving down the top portion that hits the barrel. If you look at the Tiberius forum there is a thread about this. ;)
