Everyone I know who has a SLG is constantly working on it. Maybe I just have friends that have bad luck with markers, idk.

Yeah, slgs are junk. Out of those three the mini is the best choice. That is if it is comfy for you to use, a lot of people, me included think they are hella uncomfortable. You could buy a lot of older used high ends for the same price as a new mini, just some food for thought.

its a little over the $300 range but an ETEK 3 would be a great buy

That's odd, I haven't had a problem with the one I have. Provided I don't try to play with the same battery that's been sitting in it for the past 6 months, of course. But my Ego has that same problem, so I think it just might be how things work or don't work as the case may be.

I'm probably going to be selling the SLG though if you want to pick an upgraded one for a good price. Just shoot me a PM.

Pick up a used Infinity Legend. You can get em for $200 used and they shoot awesome. Def a good buy.
