Idea for chest rig

Idea for chest rig might make this or ask spec ops to make it.

I cant draw this up so dont ask. but if i make it I might be able to show pictures.

my idea was to have a small molle platform on the front of the body. and on the back there would be four upside down pod holders. the lids being about 6" from the wasteline. the front ches molle platform would be about 13"x11" so you could put stuf on there like radio pouch, grnade pouch, 6"x8" utility pouch, and ID pouch. pretty much anything you want to on the front. this would allow for an extremely light pack and enable lots of movement. the rig would be attached via nylon straps and plastic buckles. like i said I might try to make this myself. but if i cant then I will ask special ops to consider adding it to there line of soft goods. tell me what you think. any flaws you see? pros and cons, would you use this? Ive been trying to get some 3rd person view on this.

the only thing i see with this is that your using very little space on the vest. if the goal is for a lighter rig why not just have a pod pack with MOLLE on it...just seems like u'd be using a .308 where a .177 airgun would do the job. know what i mean?

They already make something very similar: Dagger X.

It replaced the original Dagger 7, which basically had the same pouches on the front you described. The X just has molle panels for players to mount whatever they want.

They have a couple of variants of a pod pack as well if you wanted to go even lighter as DRP mentioned - one with pods already attached & one without. But I'm guessing you may want a little more real estate than that. I also see the advantage of taking some of the load on your shoulders & not just entirely on your hips, but that's a personal preference thing.

Regardless of what you want, SO could make a custom piece for you... you don't have to wait for them to make a production run.

did you say custom pice i didn't even know that there was a place for that. THAT IS F****** AMASING!!!!!!...
would it be possible for you to give me the contact info so I can figure this out with him?

the reason I dont want to use a pack is because I dont want the weight on my hips I want it on my shoulders. and I like to have everything compact and up high on my torso. nothing on my waist. to hinder movwement. that is why its so small. but im still not sure how much space I will need as a minimum on the front. for radio, ID, utility, and grenades(not sure how to plural that) mabey 12 grams or 10rnd tubes. what do you guys think?

However - specops has a Modular Shoulder Harness you might be interested in if you want to carry less pods or that other stuff...

They make MOLLE panels, holsters, and mag pouches for it.

They also make a MOLLE piece for your arm (which has an elastic band for your arm) that normally hooks to your vest at the top - you could probably get them to rig something so that it hooks on to the MSH.

the pods would be upside down so I wouldnt have to reach over my shoulder. but yeah I would definatly want a custom rig. I try and find you guys on the forum so I can see how much this would cost and what I will need to do.

Anyways, try reaching backwards up towards your shoulder blades and try to imagine pulling a pod out that way
