Q Loader Questions

Im designing a custom build, and i had an idea, but i need some advice.
Would the Q Loader still work if the marker was upside down? As if it was force loading from the bottom?
What implications could this have?
Thanks for the input

ive seen qloaders at all sorts of angles and directions and on every side of a marker...so it should work...but it will work better if u have gravity help u move rounds thu the feed hose and not working against gravity

thanks. On a related note, if the Q Loader would feed successfully, would an ion gun work upside down?

Yeah i think he is right. The ion with the q loader should feed fine upside down until you got to the last few paintballs in the feed hose. They wouldn't have anything pressing on them and no gravity to feed them into the marker, but thats really not that big of deal. The shorter you make the hose the less paintballs that will be wasted.

If its upside down i can hook them up directly, so that shouldn't be too big of a problem, but thats a good observation.
im trying to use an ion and other parts to make a custom marker. Hopefully it turns out okay.

Note the QLoader is fed by spring pressure so can be fed in any direction.
You should only think of the QLoader providing 100 paintballs, not 100 plus the feed hose length.
If there is a gravity drop through the hose then you can shoot some extra ones, but these leave a gap in the hose. When you attach the next QPod then that number of paintballs are forced through at high speed.
If the feed hose is empty or the gap is large the you are likley to get busrt paintballs due to the speed and pressure once they stop in contact with the markers breach.
If you are going to carry spare paintballs to re-prime the feed hose before attaching the next QPod, or only playing with one QPod then there is no risk, you can take the extras with gravity or tipping the marker.

tommika is right on the money. Qloader will work in any position or angle. also any marker will work in any angle also, so no worries about anything being upside down man. Have fun with your design and get to it.
