definetly a large amount of forehead exposure, although without my visor on my flex it isn't all that big of a difference. This could be partially due to my large head and high forhead. I do however like from the looks of it, the easy lense removal system as well as the extra padding. I haven't had an opportunity to try one out yet, but I would love to, although I think I will probably remain happy with my current Flex mask

What's your point with the kinetic energy? When the ball hits it, or when you are running?

And lol you must have not seen very many masks. I would hate having to change lens with a screwdriver. I can do my i4's and grill in seconds.

I have never been hit in the jaw from the rubber snapping back at me??? It more deflects off of it if you ask me, not cushion it in so much. I would never wear one of those full face masks that wrap all the way around my head.

Not to mention the soft rubber smacking you in the head if you got a mask that you shouldn't have (ie. cheek/jaw hit) :P Some people even have those full coverage masks over your whole head.

Hard plastic mask > soft rubber that will slap you hard when you get hit > beanie > exposed forehead/jawline :P (in terms of protection)

I thought you were talkign about the angel eyes with the screwdriver...because tehy sure don't use screwdrivers to disassemble...that would be such an inconvience.

kinetic energy...it just means how much force is transfered to ur head when the paintball, goes from 90 mph something to 0 mph. when it hit the mask the energy is keep off ur face

and it doesnt use screws it has a lil tab that turns one quater of a turn, one on each side so i can change a lence in about 30 seconds with a screw driver, 60 or so with my thumbnail

Honestly, as far as the amount of energy hitting your head, I've never had an issue with it hurting all that bad wearing a beanie, or bandana...and since I don't like the way visors on my paintball mask look and or feel, I will take a little bit extra pain for it.

i really would like to get a proflex but that exposed jaw line really bothers me, do they make larger bottoms for it?

Well let's see. If you have a beanie on, there is good chance it could bounce. Now if it hits the hard plastic, it will break. I would rather take a ball to the forehead (with a headband and beanie on over it) and stay in the game, then get shot in the visor or wherever else and be eliminated.....and it doesn't hit your face.

Just don't always have your mouth open. Tons and TONS of people use proflexs, and getting shot in the jaw is not there biggest concern.
