I dont know if anyone else sells this product, but i haven't seen it.Medusa sells this product that holds and disperses paintballs. theres essentially a long tube full with a pinched shut mouth at the bottom end. When you squeeze the mouth it opens it so the paint can come out. This product is probably patent protected, but maybe there could be a way to incorporate their design onto the spec ops vest line. Combining this product idea with spec ops already solid vest design could create a winning combination.

Ok, so Ben, I am a THICK Irish paddy. I browsed all over that site, looked closely at the product and read your description. They have NO product description on the site! WTH! I still can't figure out wtf the mamba does? So you hook it to a pod and the hose shoots balls to hopper? I am confused.

Yea i tried to describe it best i could and theres no description on the site either. I just joined a team sponsored by Medusa and saw one in action playing with them. Its a long tube that you hang on your back. You fill it with paintballs. It hangs so that the curved end is right above your hip. theres a mouth that is closed, and you squeeze it to open, like a camelback mouthpiece or a plastic change purse. this lets the balls spill out. You put your hopper underneath and fill it. My guess is you fill it from the top. it was pretty slick, and the people who used them said they were pretty unobtrusive. my guess is if they were built into a vest they would be even more tight to your body. It seems like a great idea. The people that used it like it. It eliminates the need for pods entirely, so theres no fumbling with them or trying to put them back in your pack. The only problem i could see is if you were trying to fill up your hopper with this while lying down.

I'm not interested. I don't like how you have to lower your gun to the mouth of the tubes, particularly the one on your weak side; you'd have to change over which hand your marker is in, then put the hopper down by your hip and guide the paint in at the same time. I get the idea, but I don't see it as an effective system. This would also be difficult if you use a remote line and/or sling (I use both)

The way i was it done was by holding the gun by the trigger in your right hand and squeezing the tube with your left. But yea i can see where youre coming from.

350 damn. IDK jury is still out on this. Maybe Ryan from pb live can get one sent. Id have to see it in action. By itself it seems cumbersome running a remote and other gar I use. But w/out seeing Idk...

I thought of QLoader when I first found these - does the Qloader piece that's larger (looks like a hydration pack..?) let you refill your qloader pods or could it work like on of these but feeds directly to your marker?

Is it solid plastic inside? If not, imagine taking a fall and smashing all of your paint...not to mention the cleaning time involved. A good concept that's for sure.

Depending on the model you get it will hold either 350, 700, 1500 or 2100 balls.

The M350 is $34.00. WAY too expensive for 2.5 pods (140 rnd pods)of paint.

M700 is $59.00. Still way too expensive for for 5 pods...

the M2100 is $140 and that's about 15 pods. That makes sense for a big game since you can't really carry that many pods. But it's still cheaper to buy 14 Dye 160 rnd lock lid pods.


I personally can't see enough people buying these things to make a vest viable to the general market.

I'm sure MOATI could do a custom vest for you though.

Adding MOLLE to custom vest maker would be nice though though I know I can always ask for customized work done on existing platforms

Ok so I thought the model number was how many pbs it holds, based on what you're saying, it is not? And from what I can tell, they justify the slightly higher price by convenience of loading? I said no on the survey, but I think this may be great for heavy gunners.

Read Puz's response again Nate... the model number is the quantity. 2.5 (pods) x 140 rounds per pod = 350 rounds.

"Convenience" is a matter of personal opinion. Personally I don't care for it & don't think it would be that convenient. I've seen them in action a handful of times & reloading seemed to be awkward at best. However the guys who I've seen use them liked them.
