Well guys my Grill came in today! They are amazing. By far the best mask i have ever got to use. I can't wait to try them out on the field. I got them off ebay for $29. They are basically new. Just one scratch on the lens but thats totally fine with me for $29 lol. Thanks for all your help on this guys.

I currently own both. Honestly, they fit about the same, so the sizing isn't even really all that different. I have a fairly large chin, and so it comes out from under both when I stretch or talk. Also, brand new Grillz are only $70. I too am a budget player, but with major essentials like seeing, I'd rather drop a few extra dollars on a brand new one with a warranty than skimp and end up miserable.

I haven't had a chance to play in the Grillz yet, but if they're basically a Profiler with a lower profile and more aggressive looking lens, which seems to be the case, then they'll be perfect as far as I'm concerned. Though I also managed to use enough anti-fog on my original Scott mask lens that I could play in the rain in Seattle. You can't really go wrong with either, but I'd still recommend buying new. Or at the very least immediately replacing the lens.

Edit: Wow, I suck. Out of practice.

i was going to buy profiler but decided on the grill because they fit better with my glasses. that was a big consideration for me as i cant see crap with out them and i can't wear contacts. another issue i had with picking a mask was as a small woman i had to make sure stuff is small enough to fit

Well, I was going to suggest if you're on a budget, get the profilers. Lenses are cheaper, and they last longer.
I have a problem with my Grill lenses starting to scratch after even a couple days of playing. The mirrored ones scratch really easily (or rather, it's more obvious).

The Grill lens isn't actually thermal, it's thermo-cured. They put a layer of film that is anti-fog on it (or a coating of anti-fog). Wiping the lens with a wet cloth will take that off. So keep some FogTech wipes on hand.

My job is to be an asshole. I excel at the position.

I've always liked filers better than grills. Just like the way they look/feel, for some reason i can't stand grills.

I have owned both, and I like my grillz better. the way you can interchange the foam quickly is really nice same with the lens. I would recommend if you do where glasses (i do) I got some mini computer fans setup in mine and they make a world of difference if playing in the woods. Also the replacement lenses have gotten cheaper i picked up a few pairs for 21 bucks each brand new.
