Totally unrelated (well, aside from Empire markers), but I just noticed that they're bringing the tracer back

Good thing? Bad thing?

Thal, the changes are probably worth about $50. The fact it says 'Empire' and not 'Invert' adds that extra $100.

Here's some pictures from the same link that Connel posted. I just wanted to post them directly here because they are kind of buried in a few pages, and I think I few of them give the marker a little bit more justice than the picture on page 9. I'm not saying it's pretty by any means, but these pictures just make it look slightly better. :P

Empire is letting me down this year. First, this "Axe" (really? Axe?). But, have you seen their new 2011 Contact gear?
2011 Pants..., 2011 Jerseys... Actually, the jerseys don't look too bad. But the pants don't look nearly as good as the passed couple years (at least, in my opinion. I LOVE my 2009 LTD's.)

As for the Tracer, if it's a decent marker, that's awesome. Gives the would-be pumper a quality, low cost alternative to converted Cockers and SL68's (which, from what my friend who bought one said, is a paperweight).

My job is to be an asshole. I excel at the position.

I may end up being a guinea pig for the new tracer. I've wanted a stick feed/hopper feed easy conversion Nelson valve marker, but the Phantom + extra body was way outside my range. This + a BT pistol mag (could always remove the spring if I wanted true stock class feed) could easily make my plan happen, for less than the cost of a single phantom setup (they are compatible, that feed is just another BT slide-remove design).

It's growing on me. I got to admit it.

And that Empire stuff does not look that good at all.

The new '11 LTD jerseys/pants look pretty nice. They're definitely better than the '10 clothing. Those jerseys made you look like you had a beer belly IMO..

Love the Tracer re-hash. Hope it does well for them. Got one on my Christmas list.

I got one ordered and awaiting delivery :)

Now I'll finally have a Nelson valve design in the collection.

I'll be sure to post up a review in the proper section once I get it and can test it. The selling points to me over the phantom was the faster change between hopper/stick feed, low cost, and autococker threads.

EDIT: They just emailed me. Won't go out until early November :(
