Pistols are hot now. I bet Tiberius will be the most sought after woodsball marker in 2011. Also I never dreamed that the TPX would be the product to bring Tippmann back to the forefront.

Personally, Id recommend the TPX. It has a great feel to it, and it can be comparable to many mid-level normal markers. You can even put an APEX on it! A cool thing with the T8.1 though, is that you can have a remote line. Your Choice!

Amm... you can put a remote on the TPX and you can get an Apex on the 8.1...

But I like the enthusiasm.

My job is to be an asshole. I excel at the position.

Lol. It's easier to put a remote line on the 8.1, and yes as pirate mentioned 8.1 can run an APEX. Plus the TPX can run A-5 barrels but only if they are completely straight unless you machine the pistol itself, lame. The First strikes won me over, and I watched many reviews the one on youtube from modern intel a couple Canadian guys was very in depth. I watched the spread of the first strike rounds at even 50 ft, and WOW! That shiz is accurate.....

Even with first strike aside, I'm all for the Tiberius 8, hands down.

I've seen the TPX fail when it counts, a few times. A friend has replaced almost every part in his TPX. I've been rockin the Tiberius 8 for 2.5 years and love it.

As for the point about the TPX not needing to puncture the 12 gram until needed. Well the Tiberius seals the 12g C02 upon ejection of the mag. I just leave my 12 grams in the mags between Sundays.

The TPX I believe, was designed to take a share of the pistol market. When Tiberius made the Tac 8 however, they designed it like they meant it.
