Just wondering Crossman 3357

Okay so I was just looking through random paintball stuff and came across a beauty

The crossman 3357 which is styled after the 357 revolver.
But the bad about it is that it uses a 50. caliber paintball instead of the standard size.
So my question is is it possible to mill out or convert it someway into a standard bore size?

I would think you could just bore out the chambers and barrel to .68 but I don't know. It would depend on how much metal is in the chambers and barrel. Boring it out could make it too thin and easy to damage.

Do you have one in hand? If not contact Cptobvious. I believe he has one and might be able to give better insight.

not likely.

there is a 68 cal revolver coming out. five in the chamber and optional ten round stick feed to reload the chambers as it cycles. and its cocker threaded

still in the prototype phase tho.

Well that new revolver just rained on my parade lol. But since it seems to be a garage made gun and not professional i dont know if it would be anymore or less reliable then trying to garage mod the 3357

I would have to say negative on reboring the barrel though.

lol jk... those revolvers are out now, I believe.

I remember seeing on another site a guy had been working on something similar...but it was double-action (ie. the chamber spun on it's own, you didn't have to re-cock the marker each shot!). Looked great, but heard the guy was taking some Chinese companies to courts cause he had posted a 3d model of his plans and they stole them or something...

The DRV has been out for awhile now. They are excellent.

3357's are double action too. Two stage trigger. First 7/8 of the pull spins the drum, lines it up, and cocks the hammer. Last 1/8 of the pull fires
