Looking to make my A-5 more geared towards "Close-Quarter-Combat"/Speedball as my local fields do not have the best woodsball setups.

Please no, "sell + buy etek EGO" posts...I can only afford mods here and there, slowly :D We all dont have parents who will buy us the latest and greatest gear...

Here's what I have so far,

-Polished Internals
-J&J Ceramic 14in (kinda long..)
-PMI Gas-Thru Grip (took off fore-grip)
-ShockTech Dropforward
-Ninja Macro Fittings+Line
-Ninja 48/3000 HPA Tank
-Egrip (coming in the mail)

I was thinking of adding the APE Rampage board to the Egrip, possibly Cyclone upgrades...what else..?

If you are going to shoot fast, cyclone upgrades are a must!!! Your barrel is fine for speedball. I use a 14, though for CQB it may be a bit big.

To be honest though, your tippmann is going to be a money pit. Trust me I was in your boat before. I sold it and just saved a little bit. Then bought a Mini. Fast, light, and shoots great. Couldn't be happier.
Real agglets don't have sigs :dodgy:

You don't need another board beyond the standard egrip. Most fields only allow semi-auto fire anyway, so any extra benefits from aftermarket boards is useless in most places.

I'd get a double finger trigger for that egrip, in a style that feels right to you (blade trigger, standard double trigger, whatever). This will allow you to practice "walking" and will legally allow you to increase your rate of fire for when you need to lay paint (the fact you want to increase the ROF is known because you said you're buying an egrip)

If you want to shorten it up, look for a good 10-12" barrel. I think you're fine with a 14" barrel personally, but it's up to you. Don't fall into the "super short barrel" trap - you'll need at least 8 inches of barrel to get the shot up to speed and stabilized.

You should upgrade your cyclone. Start with the ratchet, because that is the number one part that breaks in A5s and X7s. Ask Legato about his A5, or me about my X7, and we have some real horror stories for you regarding cyclone ratchets.

Lastly, you may want to consider an RVA. Far better way to adjust velocity than the stock velocity screw in Tippmanns. This has nothing to do with woodsball or speedball though, and the downside (if it is one for you) is an inability to add a stock with the RVA (exception - JCS makes some folding stocks with an RVA). Though for speedball games, a stock is not desirable at all so this does not seem to be a concern for you.
