So since ive gotten a pump, and prefer stock class, ive kinda started to go lighter as far as what i bring to the field and what i actually use. For example i only take about 300 paintballs to the field, and i only put 10 - 10 round tubes in the harness, and only carry a 12 oz tank as a backup with my 68-4500 on the marker, aside from camo, barrel sock, and a mask, thats all i take. Anyone else do this?

I play semi and only play with 300 for the day, and just my 68/4500 tank, flex mask and a 50 round hopper....

When I play pump I use a 13ci HPA or 3.5oz co2. Lightens even more.

When I play pump I throw a few 10 rounds in my pocket or if its a sniper based pump I put a 50 round pod in my pocket.

When I play semi I normally just have a pod or two and a hopper...I dont like moving with alot of stuff on me...tournaments are terrible when I have 6 or 7 pods on my back.

kinda sorta...

when i went out a few weeks ago (my first time with my equipment)

I went out with my hopper full (x-7 lp hopper) which is what.. 200 rnds
4 x 140rnd pods
88/4500 on my back

so i essentially went out there with 760 rounds.. but i only used 2 pods at most and didnt run out on that hopper...

so i really only used 400ish rounds per round.... as i like getting "INTO THE FIRE" i didnt last a long time.. good enough to get a few peeps though!!!!!!

i just bought a vest from Moati and originally planned on carrying...

3 - 2+1's on my back + 2 pods on left and 2 pods on right for

2020 max paint carry.. that is a bit much!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but i figured for a large scenario it is possible..
now i have a tac 8.1 so got the pistol pouch which would remove 2 front pods.. but could transfer to the back or sides towards the back...

but going out with my nxe camo 4+1 harness and only using 2 pods... i see i will be stripping the vest alot.... tank and 4 pods on back, tac 8.1 up front, id pouch and shotgun shell pouch up front.....

I've been shooting less and less the longer I play. Now I go out with a vest to carry my radio and tank if I'm running a remote, and one or two full pods in case of emergency. I have a fifty round hopper that I haven't spraypainted yet. better get on that

When I'm back home, I usually go out with a VSC Phantom, 90 rounds, 4 twelvies, and that's about it. I have a Joyride Harness that holds everything I need conveniently without weighing a whole lot. Light is the way to go. My job requires me to carry a lot of weight. I don't need to carry a lot when I'm just having fun...

Wow, I use to carry EVERYTHING to the field and alot on the field. I had a 14" barrel, a stock, a pod pack, electric loader, etc. I finally got fed up with it all. I switched to a 10" barrel, lost the stock, lost the pod pack, lost the electric loader, and only carry bare essentials to the field.

I still use a remote line so now I can get really small. I only carry paint in the hopper which is one of those Archon hoppers which works great by the way. I still wear a belt full of my grenades. lol. I'm much happier now.

I carry 3 pods and a battle swab and that's about it, other than my gun and hopper of course.

I used to play pretty light -- didn't even bring pods to a game until my first D-Day. Now I pack heat, but when I *really* want to have fun (and when winning isn't an issue anymore), I'll drop the big guns for a pistol and a couple of tubes. Limiting your paint is freakin' FUN, win or lose, because of how much harder it is to get kills.
Go Yoda -- I didn't order that!

Yeah I was like you. I started the sport on pump and got used to running, flanking and generally moving fast and being a small target so when I purchased a semi-auto I naturally looked for a small marker. I ended on a Mini with 49/4500 and rarely carry more than 1 pod (I HATE Pod packs, don't get me started on Vests)

It depends on the kind of day Im playing. Sometimes I go hardcore stock class, just marker & a belt pouch with some 10 rnds & 12gs.
But sometimes - usually scenarios - Im loaded for bear. 6 pods, extra tank, grenades, radios, blah blah blah.

I used to bring a damn near full Dye Navigator to the field, with 3 markers and tons of gear to outfit many people. Now i just bring a backpack, two SC markers, box of 12 grams, 14 ten round tubes, and a few SC harnesses just in case.

When i go on the field, i have my SC marker, three 12 grams, five 10 round tubes, and a squeegee...and i usually walk back with two 12 grams and at least three full 10 round tubes

If I am playing at my home field I usually go light. There is not a lot of competition out there anyways. If I am going to a scenario game, then I take extra gear. Some of my gear is a bit specialized for various situations for scenarios.

-two 12 grams for every 10 rnd tube
-2-4 tubes of paint.
