I think that its' only useful for showing off, really. I mean, I might buy one just to carry to look cool or something (lol), but not for a real game.

I think the best/funnest use for it would be to use it for committing seppuku after you lose a game or don't accomplish an objective or something.

You're clearly thinking inside the box on this one.
This is a GREAT scenario Role Players marker. I wish I had one of these a couple years back at a game. I was an "Ambassador" in a Red Dawn themed game. I was running around to all these meetings with a Splatmaster tucked in the back of my pants under my coat (yeah, I was wearing an old thrift store suit). I was actually on a third team, and I heard about a mission to assassinate the General of the Americans, so I take the mission for the Russians, because I was going to go meet with the American General to discuss my third team helping them take back a supply depot. The Americans had been promising us a lot of "money" all game (how we scored our points), but hadn't delivered, while the Russians had been paying us well. So I decided to teach the Americans about paying their debts.
Problem was, when I went to pull the Splatmaster (which I had loaded), it was really obvious. Managed to get the General, but immediately got mowed down by his bodyguards. With that Goblin, I could have had it in my sleeve or a coat pocket or something, and shot him when I went to shake his hand.
We put our glass to the sky and lift up. And live tonight 'cause you can't take it with ya. So raise a pint for the people that aren't with us. And live tonight 'cause you can't take it with ya...

The best I could do was pull a James Bond in Casino Royale with a blue knife. shook his hand, with the "arm on the back" kind of hug, stabbed him instead. I tried running but I guess paint mines are a good idea for a front door defense.
EDIT-
I'm thinking we should all buy one of these and play that game, I forget what it's called, the cruise ship? and every player has a target they must eliminate, but they need to avoid being eliminated too? I feel the name is really obvious...
Anyways, play a scenario game inside of a scenario game. Score more points if you eliminate your designated target with the lil dingey.

But where am I going to find some sort of epic win playstyle like that in southwestern Ohio?

I have to travel at least 4 hours to find a good scenario game. Usually it's closer to 6-8.

I personally have no interest in such a thing. All I can imagine is dropping to the ground and having that thing go off in my front pocket.
