There's a place down the road called The Pub. English style pub that sells 35+ imported beers, with their respective glasses. Plus they have several more on tap. (Another 15 or so). It's heaven when wanting to try some new things. I've grown to like me some stouts. There's one that tastes and smells like dark chocolate...name escapes me at the moment.

I can't say for all bars...but I have. Where I ordered it it was a shot and not a sipping drink.

Another drink that makes my tummy feel yummy is Jagermeister. Some people hate it, I love it. Jag Bombs are probably most popular (Red Bull with a shot (or more) of Jag). But I have been known to buy a fifth of Jag and just sip on that all night.

Also Gin and Tonic...yum. Tanqueray and some decent tonic water is what I celebrated the new year drinking.

I hate bars that do that, give you shots instead of a full drink.

I can't stand black licorise. It kills me inside. My friend had me try to go a whole weekend only drinking Surfers On Acid (jager, Malibu, tons of pineapple juice, and a few other mixings)...i thought i was going to die..i hate coconut, i hate pineapple, and i despise licorise jager... :( We can just say me and the trees out back got to know eachother well that weekend.

Gin is just something i could never love. :( It tastes like a pine tree...i feel like i'm drinking christmas tree. We are on Vacation going to the liquor store (between the 15 of us we'd usually clear $1k in liquor over the week with all the people that would swing by), one girl asked for Gin, said get the biggest and cheapest you can...ok...blue plastic jug of Booth's gin. She had two drinks and said she wouldn't drink it. Us not wanting it to go to waste tried, died...that bottle sat for like 3 years until we finally were able to finish it off. I salute you for being able to put up with that flavor...i cannot

I know my friends LOVE Irish Car Bombs, Take a pint of Guinness and drop a shot of Baileys with Jameson thrown into it into the glass and chug...drink fast, as the jameson will curdle the baileys. You got about a minute. I thought it was alright, many people think it tastes like a chocolate shake

Don't think so, on either account. It was an English stout.

I'm going to Raleigh next week, and I wanna make it to the Flying Saucer while I'm there. Over 80 taps, something like 300 beers on the list, and the food is supposed to be great too.

Myself, also dislike beer - but I like Strongbow enough that it's making beer more tolerable.

However, I am all for straight scotch (Balvenie is what I have at the moment, though I was too cheap to get the 15 + year) and my new favourite rum, "The Kraken" black spiced/caramel rum...when I first had a rum and coke it was white rum and I thought it tasted like mouthwash and was totally turned off rum until now.

When I need a cheap drink (or when I just don't feel like slowly enjoying some scotch), I go with Crown Royal and Coke - greeeat. I've also tried Forty Creek whiskey - pretty good, smoky flavour.

I am going to stand up with Legs and cndrinkh20. Beer is just not for me. I have tried more than my fair share and never found one I would buy.

I really do not like cheap crappy booze anymore either...I think Legs is right there as well...you get older and you seem to care what you drink.

Around our house the cheap stuff is a rum/burbon mix called White Christmas. It is brilliant as a mixer and in jello shots. I also like Sailor Jerry's for cheap rum.
My good stuff is 31 yeard old Talisker Scotch. Aged 25 in the cask then the rest on the shelf in its bottle and box. This stuff has to be the most complex mixture of flavor I have ever expirienced. If you ever get the chance...try this stuff.

And to top off my list of favorites. A team mate makes his own Mead. This has to be one of the most satisfying drinks one can imagine for a social gathering. The problem is the time. It takes 6 months for a good batch. It can be rushed but you loose the smooth flavor when you hurry. At Super Game we finished off a batch that was made 8 months ago. Candy in a class, no harsh taste sweet and enjoyable. Just be carefull with it. The incredibly high sugar content will create some of the worst hang overs you can image due to the rapid dehydration you experience while drinking it. My recommendation with good mead is to consume a glass of mead and two glasses of water....unless you like pounding headaches that last two days!

Blacktooth Grin...Dimebag Darrel's favorite drink. XD

I have always wanted to try Mead. I have two friends at work who make it. They are going to give me some next batch. XD

And hell yeah, quality high end liquor is where it is at. XD

Legato, you can feel free to send me that bottle of Crystal Head in 28 days
My Dad is one of those "You're 18. You can go to war, so you can drink." people, and in Virginia it's legal for me to drink in my home if he buys it.
Mostly he gets Sam Adams (bought a case of Sam Adams Winter Lager after hearing great things...most of that case went to me because he didn't like it so much).
But I've made him get some Stone Brewery stuff (Arrogant Bastard Ale is my favorite :3 Their Russian Imperial Stout is also really good).

But yeah, 28 days and I can buy my own

My job is to be an asshole. I excel at the position.

I prefer bourbon over scotch. Had a bottle of The Glennlivet 12yr. That was really good. Also had a bottle of Johnny Walker Black that was a good bit smoother than the Glenn. I absolutely love bourbon though. My favorite so far is Ridgemont Reserve 1792. Woodford is good too, but has more of a bite than the 1792. Four Roses is also an excellent bourbon. My favorite mixed drink, hands down, is the white russian. I always have Kahlua on hand. I do also love a good gin and tonic. For everyone who doesn't like gin, next time you go out get a gin and tonic or a Martini made with Hendricks gin. I promise you it will change your entire view of gin.

I used to drink the really cheap stuff back when I was younger. Our staple drink was Sterling Vodka for $9.99 per half mixed with Mello Yello. That stuff is downright foul.

Anymore, though $12 per 750ml is as cheap as I will go. My cheap beer of choice is PBR. Can't be beat for $13/30
