So I've always enjoyed cigars and recently bought a pipe. I personally prefer the cigars to the pipe myself, but I haven't tried many tobaccos. Also for graduation my uncle got me TWO Montecristo Habanas....But my favorite cigar so far, probably because I haven't smoked the Montecristos yet, is probably a nice Coronado and I'm growing fond of ACID Kuba Kubas too lately. What favorites/variety of cigars/pipe tobacco do the members of this forum enjoy?

I still enjoy the occasional cigar, but dont know enought to tell the good brands from the less than good (without smoking them first, anyway)
I did have a change to smoke some genuine top-of-the-line Cubans im Mexico a few years ago. VERY yummy.

Im still trying to get off of cigarettes...I managed to cut my daily intake down considerably, but still not quite there yet.

Hookah bar Yeah thats what I'm talking about. Its kinda different from the normal going out to a regular bar and getting wasted. It's a nice change every now and then.
If you can't hack it, then I suggest you pack it!
I'm on it like white on rice, with a glass of milk in a snow storm.

I love hookah.

Me and my friends have been going to Hookah bars for years, and also bought one. Its a great way to just sit and have good conversation with good friends.

I may actually be joining some friends for a trip to the hookah bar over my vacation in a few weeks. Never tried it, but I'm always up for something new.

And like Stunt, I have had Cubans while in Mexico. And the Lido Deck on the way back to the States. I'll be the first to admit I am no cigar connoisseur, but dear lord those were nice. Add a nice glass of aged bourbon and ice cube or two, and watch the sun set.

Man, I need to talk the family into another cruise.

Cohiba Dominicas (because they're EXACTLY the same as the Cubans, but a lot cheaper in the States).
Rocky Patel Decades...really any Rocky Patels aside from The Edge. Had one once, wasn't fond of it.
CAO's of any type
Drew Estate

Really, it depends on my mood. If it's warmer I prefer a milder, even sometimes sweet cigar. Colder, or maybe if I'm drinking or just sitting around, I'd take something with more body.
I really liked the Drew Estate Kahlua's. I have one left that I'm saving for a special occasion. And the day I get home from school, I'm going to Pipe & Tobacco and buying a CAO Tony Soprano. That thing is DENSE. The store has it for $15, and it's been aged :3

My job is to be an asshole. I excel at the position.

I've been smoking cigars for 4 years now. I can't even count the number of cigars I have smoked, somewhere in the hundreds for sure. I also have been smoking pipe for 3 years, though not nearly as much as cigars. I have a hand carved antique Italian briar and recently picked up a cheap corn cob for a road trip. I'll smoke aromatic in my pipe, mocha is by far my favorite, but when it comes to cigars, I stay far away from the flavored ones as I can. They ruin the tobacco, IMO. I have also had a few cubans. Some of them I found to be extremely enjoyable, but others, not so much. Other than the forbidden fruit thing, they are mostly not that special. You can get cigars that are just as good, or better that are not cuban.

Here is my current stash:

Pirate, you can get Sopranos for way cheaper than $15, look around online. Also, DR Cohibas are not anywhere close to a cuban Cohiba. They are still quality, but the flavor profile and body isn't even in the same ballpark.

For good online deals, look at these sites:
http://www.cigarmonster.com/
http://www.joecigar.com/
http://dailycigardeal.com/
http://www.famous-smoke.com/
http://www.cigarsinternational.com/

The first three are run by big stores as a one deal at a time site, and usually you can find the best deals through them.

Also, here is a pic of a Cohiba Puro Dominicano I smoked a few weeks ago.

You have a Drew Estate Maduro Egg? I've always wanted to try one. :( I always liked the dark chocolatelyness of a good maduro and picked up one of the CAO MX2 double maduros...Maybe it was a bad cigar or it just got too hot, but man was it a let down, especially after all the reviews I've read. I'd spit constantly and ended up handing it off to my friend. :D Also what are your favorite Montecristos? I'm looking at the No.4 because I've noticed I like a light, creamy cigar and normally I don't have time/the attention to span to smoke for over an hour. My "big occasion" cigar of choice is definitely still the Coronado de la Flor. It's got a nice medium body which is plenty thick enough for me and the corona lasts for a good hour and a half. What other lighter, creamier cigars do you prefer? I heard Romeo y Julietas are good, but haven't tried one yet.

I haven't had any of the regular non cuban Montes, but the White label is probably exactly what you are looking for. The Media Noche by Monte is great as well, but more med-full. I prefer my cigars to be very full bodied and full flavored, but I still love the whites. Also, give the Cohiba Puro Dominicano and the Graycliff white label a shot if you have about $16 to spare and want a really good mild-medium.

Oh yeah, RyJs are pretty solid, but a bit more mild than I prefer. I will still smoke them occasionally though.

Hmm I'm liking the Monte White Label from the reviews I've read. I might have to get one. Also have you ever tried one of the Eggs before? I always thought they'd be fun to smoke.

That's my first one. They are supposed to last for a full 2 hours or more, so finding the right time is tricky. I hear the burn on them isn't the most even, but I'm not expecting too much as far as that is concerned.

I can honestly say I'd just smoke it for attention and weird looks. It'd definitely have people asking you questions.
