yes it is a tippy... but why save for something else? guess only if you want it quieter.... other than that.... i dont mind my loud tippy.. cuz you can turn towards me and eat my paint!!!!!!!!!!! :tup:

try the madmann spring kit its around 20 or 30 bucks 5 different springs for different force the higher the spring pressure the quicker the bolt will return and less air will escape. a bit more efficant but heck its only 50yds light em up!

Have you tried doubling up on the ear plugs?Use the ones with strings in first,so you can gettem back out. Sorry, had to say that.

use a silencer. O_o

The biggest thing I did to mine though was the RCII, makes the biggest difference.

Loud and proud is the way to go. But I have noticed higher end barrels a rocket cock II and like earlier stated new springs make a bit of a difference.
I noticed a good noise difference using a 98 threaded dye ultralite barrel kit for mine and I love it. I end up starting with a mil sim barrel and end up switching because of the noise after a few hours.
