Watched it a few months back, mostly disappointing and boring.

A friend of ours while brainstorming for a team name ended up with one right out of the movie..."Front Kick to the Sturnum".

I liked the movie, but I watched it like I do superhero movies...not expecting great cinema and just have fun with it.

I went back & found a review of this movie that I posted a few years ago. Here it is again...

I loved it... it was filmed in the "mockumentory" style made popular by Christopher Guest with films like Spinal Tap, Best of Show, & Waiting for Guffman, so its supposed to look like it was made with a hand cam. The story is funny as is most of the semi-improv acting. It has a positive message (cheating is bad) but still leaves the cheater, Bobby Dukes, with a chance to redeem himself & make up for his past. I caught several minor technical issues, but overall the paintball aspect of the film was reasonably well done, and only amounted to about 1/5 of the total movie. Its a comedy about paintball, not a paintball movie with some comedy, so Im not going to be overly critical of that aspect - that would be like watching Spinal Tap & critiquing the music...
Its not a GREAT movie, so dont expect an Oscar worthy production, but it is funny & entertaining, even for non-players, so it definitly worth checking out.
The intro is haillarious - the fall of Bobby Dukes being re-enacted with hand held He-Man action figures...
It also is full of great one-liners...my non-paintball playing wife quotes is constantly.
"My jersey says #2 'cause Im the s***!"

Overall, I give it a 7 out of 10.

between the 2 movies ive seen that was mainly themed on paintball..

i like this one better then other other movie called "Paintball" but that movie was more about some rich folks and their sick idea of fun. it reminded me of the Hostel movies which i thought were completely dumb.

I only watched it once. It is not something to watch over and over. I would have it on for background noise and that is about it.

That movie was horrible. I flipped over it one night on ActionMax (or the like) & noticed the markers so I watched 10 minutes, maybe, before I moved on. It was full retard - like Tug Speedman in Simple Jack, and you never go full retard... ask Sean Penn.

I've heard about it through friends and stuff, never watched it. Doesn't sound all that interesting.

I liked it, like others have said it wasn't really an amazing Oscar winning Hollywood production or anything but it's good for a few laughs to kill some time with friends on those rainy days. Not something I'd watch over and over but was a fun movie.

Blackballed is actually decent. You have to keep in mind that it was made on a tiny budget too, which is why they end up with Diablo markers and the cheapest VForce masks. The rest of the guns in that movie were borrowed or are personal guns from the cast/crew. It's also funny cause you get all the stereotypes of players too. The Ex-Military Gung-Ho, the gamer/generally cocky guy that is terrible, the one that gets shot right away, and the chill guy that just goes to play (Crosby is awesome haha).

Since we're talking about it, I had to put it on :P

I watched some of it...little bit to much language for me to actually watch it, not so much because I was oh so horribly offended but if my mom checked the netflix recently viewed section I might have gotten in trouble....

I was looking for other movies about paintball either of these any good?

Paintball (2008)
*During a serious paintball competition, eight strangers fall under life-threatening attack by an invisible enemy in the woods. Reluctant to trust each other but too afraid to be alone, the group members struggle to make it through the ordeal alive. Filmed on location in Spain, this action-packed horror movie stars

Paintball the Movie: Court Jesters: (2005)
*A group of troubled teens finds direction in this inspiring underdog story. Abandoned by his father, Indigo (Chris Tschupp) wastes his days watching cartoons. When he persuades a few of his friends to play paintball with him, it doesn't take long for the boys from the wrong side of the tracks to form an unbeatable team. Their triumphs on the paintball field give the boys an outlet and the confidence and support they need to succeed in life.
"I could be your third wheel."
"You know that's not a good thing right?"
"Of course it is, it adds more grip, greater stability"
