Be careful. The smoke nades in the big orange can get very hot immediately after you light them. Found that out the hard way. lol. As soon as I pulled the pin it got hot causing me to drop it at my feet. My squad was engulfed by the smoke. The woods were completely filled with thick orange smoke. Took a few minutes for it to disapate enough to keep playing. Ahhh, good times, good times.

Tactical Smoke
I bought a whole bunch and brought them home to use at my field, they work pretty well.

I guess I'm willing to give it a second chance if I can see it used effectively.

I didn't buy them. The guy that produced the scenerio at my field bought 6 of them and gave each general 3 of them. I was one of the generals. I kept one and gave two of them to other members of my team. I think he said he gave $6.00 each for them but that was a year ago and I don't remember exactly. When I lit it I remember thinking, " I THOUGHT THESE WERE CALLED COLD SMOKE!!!" lol.

Before using smoke people should be aware what they want from i and how it is effective.
It is preferable to get the smoke as close as possible to being on top of your opposition. The in the small area of the cloud their view is obstructed leaving you a wide open area to move whilst their vision is obstructed or reduced. As stated if the smoke is put onto or just in front of an area this will draw the fire of the opposition.

Unless you can do it over a wide enough front like you see it used for at OK D-Day or other big games

if your trying to put up a smoke screen for cover, you should stop and figure out which way the wind is blowing.. unless if you plan on throwing a few at the same time..
before i tossed one i shouted "Emergency air drop on the way" and the other players on my team just started laughing...
good times..
