Sounds like I've come to the right place, you guys sound like you have a good time. Also while shooting a few balls, a little fun ball busting can be had also. :D

Well I didn't realize that I actually have a great number of fields in my area. One is less then 10 min from my house, LVP South. I stopped by there yesterday and I have to say everyone was very nice. I chatted with two guys that were taking a break from playing as well as Erika and I forget the gentleman's name that were behind the counter. They were very helpful with information and were willing to answer all the questions I threw at them, no matter how stupid they might have seemed.

So looking forward to getting out soon.

I'm from Sellersville, PA.

As for being a Lounge Bum, we shall see. :D

Right now just got back from picking up my new marker. She needs a little cleaning but hopefully she will bring me some fun in the near future. :)

Yes, we were heading up to the Poconos for the weekend to do some Quading also so it worked out perfectly. A little expensive, but was a fun day.

Now I'm looking to check out two other local places in the next month.

Agreed, what kind of marker did you pick up?

What? Nobody does that! ;)
OK OK, I admit it.

Seriously though, make sure you get out and play! I love this forum, but I don't actually get to play nearly often enough. So don't make that mistake, and don't go spending all sorts of cash on useless upgrades. Save your money until you've been in the sport long enough to know what you really want. That's my two-cents anyway.

Regardless, enjoy your new hobby/sport/life! B)

EDIT:
I too am curious what marker you got...

It took me a long time to find the lounge...only became a lounge bum a few months ago....I didn't get addicted to the lounge until after I started using the chat for about 4 months...and then I got introduced to the True/False thread and now I don't post much of anywhere else.

and Slinky....I think that you are right about this being one of the few places that you can trust people from...ovbiously still some risk, but I'm not worried about posting up where I'm going to be playing or something. and meeting up with some of them at a large game would be cool to, haven't gotten to anything that big yet, but later this summer I will be. Can't say I would share a room though....but that isn't for not trusting people

Yes, that is why I stayed BASIC. I picked up a "USED" gun on CraigsList, I think I got a pretty good deal on it. I picked it up for $100. I just finished cleaning her up and took her out for a few rounds out back in the woods. Definately shoots better then the loaner that I shot with at Skirmish. But to be honest I don't know what this gun is Chrono'd at so that might be the reason she is shooting so strait for me.

So here is my new A5: (Minus the sticker as it came off while I was cleaning her)

I got her with a carrying bag, and 2 CO2 tanks (which I will be only using when I'm shooting in my back yard). I hope to be picking up a Compressed Air bottle this week. That will be my last purchase and I'll be ready for the field. :)

A5 will do you fine for about a year id say, then you will probably try to find something a bit smaller and efficiant. But nice buy
