So It's been 2 years since I got this gun and since then I've started 3 paint jobs, 2 of which I got half way through and decided on something different. I've only played with it once, the rest of the time it's been in the middle of a paint job. This past weekend I finally decided on a pattern and just did it.
Tell me what you think-
The photo is not my best but the paint is not your average Duracoat. I got my hands on some Cerakote H-series and let me tell ya this stuff is tough! If you know anything about paint durability tests this rates at a #9 on the pencil test (Duracoat rates a #2). Since I had limited color selection and only the ability to do a 2 tone camo (the paint needs to be baked at 300 degrees, so the vinyl can only stand one bake), I painted a decal of a dragon in black on the body. It didn't pop as much as I hoped and the green is very dark. I may paint it again in the future but this will do just fine for now.
Here is the old finish. I had a lot of people telling me I should keep it the way it is but to be honest I hated it.
Original Finish-
