Spyder MR1 Problem with cocking

When i cock the gun it fires, but then uncocks and needs to be cocked again after the first fire. Also the ball that comes out is really really weak.

no the velocity adjuster is the screw on the back,of the black plug,on the back of ur gun. the on the caps off the lower chamber from the rear and holds a sping.

Raise the pressure. Your gun doesn't have enough pressure to push the striker back. Try with paint, if the paintballs roll out of the tip of your barrel that may be your problem, if it will fully shoot that means you don't have enough air going to the striker because it's all going to firing the paintball.
If and ONLY IF it is firing the paintball at 300fps or close and not cocking you may have to get more air into the striker area. This can be accomplished by putting another groove on the valve pin. Take a dremmel and on the opposite side make a groove like the one on the top. Don't go nuts, a little goes a long way.
