So I just moved to washington and i need to get to know some local places in the paintball world. I love woodsball and i would hate to have to hang up my gear because i have nowhere to play. so please tell me where i need to go to get rid of this trigger itch i have been developing.

Actually, unless the newindoor field is open, he'd have to play Doodlebug's Snohomish field. Doodlebug's original indoor field burned down.

I was up at the doodle bug shop last week, they said there indoor field will be open probably the first week of May. As for out places, Forest fire is pretty good, since cdr got taken back over by paintball station up in Mt Vernon that is often times a pretty quality field to play at. I have never been out to Bremerton but there is the Northwest paintball park out that way. There is also Mad Dawg paintball out on Camano Island which is a small but pretty awesome fast paced field. Then Skinney Joes paintball in Arlington, they have something like 36 acres, but it needs alot of work to make it more fun. Those fields are all up north more so. I have not been to the fields south of Seattle, but I know there was KC crusaders, and like danger zone paintball and a few others down south.
I prefer to go to parks that allow you to bring your own paint, from what I have heard most of the south of Seattle fields require field paintball, but Mad Dawg, Forest Fire, Paintball Station, and Skinney Joes allow you to bring your own paint. Hopefully that helps ya out. Oh and btw Nitehawk paintball out by Spokane has in my opinion the best field in Washington and puts on the some quality big games if your up for a 4 hour drive.

sounds like some close places for some weekend games, but i might have to make a trip to spokane for a big game or two. thanks for the input.

The next big game June 19th and 20th at Nitehawk should be a blast. 2-days of scenario play but all kinds of honerable players are welcome. There will be plenty of west side players driving over for this one too. You owe it to yourself to try out Nitehawk paintball at least once.

BTW, on the DBS indoor field, their website says that there have been delays and the expect to open at the end of May. That's good news because I didn't even think they were THAT far along!
