I have a BT-ERC that is not firing for me.
It has power, but when i shoot it, it might only fires once then it's as if it's turned off. i power it down and back on, same thing (only one or two shots or sometimes none).

• brand new battery
  
• nothing seems to be in it or the trigger area
  
• the light reacts to the trigger as if i am firing it

Any idea what i have going?

Try a brand new high quality battery. Cheap weak batteries won't cut it in an E-grip. Does it fire once or twice then absolutely nothing, or does it start clicking but not firing?

HOLY CRAP! 2 Duracells out of the box...same thing (not firing), a third Energizer...works again! I must have bought Duracells that were on the shelf too long.

Glad you got it figured out. Everybody I know with an E-grip goes through the same thing. I think the energizer E2 batteries are pretty good. That's the "E-squared" batteries.
