So my sp-1 is broken and I have no flippin idea on how to fix it. I screw in the CO2 and gas blasts out of the bottom of the asa. So I put a remote coil on it and it sounds like there is gas leaking from the top of the grip. Also when I shoot it, it emits a squeaky sound almost like a dog getting stepped on. Can someone help me?

I know you're gonna hate me for this, but I've been waiting to say this....Maybe you should call Smart Parts? Lol and I have no idea what that could be. The squeaky noise is throwing me off.

Have you tried lowering the pressure?

Gas out the bottom ASA is usually a sign the tank oring is toast. Gas leak above the grip frame would usually mean your noid is blown or leaking. Take apart the grip and check the hoses. If your input pressure into the noid is too high you will blow it.

okay found an HPA tank and put it on there. All I hear now is the air coming out from the top of the grip. Would that be the noid? Also isn't Smart Parts out of business?

How do I lower the pressure?

yep, the noid sits on top of the grip frame. To lower pressure you'd adjust the regulator/foregrip adjustment screw. Not sure if it's like an Ion and needs a crescent wrench or like a normal reg and uses an allen wrench. Either way you'd lower the output of the reg and see if the leak stops. If not, take apart the marker and see if maybe just the hoses are blown and not the noid. If they are hooked up fine and it's still leaking, you would probably have to replace the noid. You can take this to any proshop and they should be able to do this for you for a fee, unless you feel comfortable doing it yourself.

Yea I was going to say the solenoid, but I don't know what that squeaking is. I guess it could be a whistle effect from a leak. And yes, Smart Parts is out of business...lol.

The squeaking went away when I put HPA on it. Thanks for your help I'm hoping a tube just slipped off. How much is another noid?

I second that.

Make sure you turn your pressure down first though, you don't want to blow your new one the first time you air up your gun and use it.

Do you not chrono when you play? If you aren't you should.

agreed...lower the output of that reg til it basically shuts off, then slowly raise it til you hit your desired PSI/FPS.

Well fixed the solenoid by myself. I will be making a guide of sorts to fix an Sp-1/vibe solenoid.

Well in short I took the solenoid off the circuit board and opened it up to see an o-ring that wasn't secured. Put the o-ring back into place, put the solenoid back together, attach to circuit board....problem fixed and it shoots like a champ now
