Not too long, its USB 2.0 Connection so it goes pretty fast. Now rednering a 1080p video in a video editing software takes forever..at least for the software Im using.

it takes up to a 16 GB micro SD. 15 minutes per GB on the highest setting. it comes with a 2 GB card
