Hey guys, I have an SP1, and I'm trying to find out what upgrades( mostly internals, but open to Barrel suggestions as well) would help me reduce the noise level when it fires. Right now it's got stock internals, and an 16-18inch Rap4 barrel. I don't think it's the barrell, because I've taken it off and fired it and it still sounds the exact same as with it on. So any ideas?

How much if any porting do you have on the barrel? The more the porting the quieter the marker will be.

There's a few, but not a whole lot. But I think it's more on an internal problem. Could be wrong though

I have an Ion. What really got mine quiet was a heavily ported barrel.

Run it at as low pressure as possible.

Those are the two biggest things you can do to lower sound output. Heavily ported long barrel and run at as low a PSI as possible. Just understand your effeciency will be in the crapper, but you will be uber queit. It's a trade off, proper effecient operation or really quiet sound signature.

I don't see what the big deal is honestly. They can't be adapted to fit real firearms anymore than a pillow, and I've played with cops who used my design, lol.
