While the video is impressive HeadShot hit the nail on the head. I am sceptical until I see real evidence.
I would like to know what they did though. But since I do not live in SoCal and am not friends with the Dye techs I will never know!

... its not 40 but rather 35 or so. I dont have a ball counter.

Then how do you know what it's shooting? Are you counting "35 or so" balls per second on your fingers & toes?

Ok. Here is a guy that did the same thing I did but with an E-grip frame. Don't pay attention to the talking, its nascence. Anyway, WATCH the cyclone feed. It keeps up!!. To prevent the feed from turning blender on you, just add softer paddles. Mine shoots a little faster but its still in the same ball park. He also doesn't have a response trigger so he cant regulate his bps.

Okay for one that video does not show that the cyclone keeps up. There is no paint so that video dont mean crap. I watched the other video he had posted of the gun also and if you look at the end of his barrel you can see the chopped balls all souped up in the end. So once agian Blender.

That TAPS Wild A5 is not shotting 40 bps...or 30...or 20. I would put his rate of fire right around 15, and he was burst firing since he could not keep the thing going full out. I am willing to bet it get worse as it goes on in longer bursts.
It is also wildly inaccurate...needs to be recocked continuously and seemed to break quite a few balls.

Not to mention...he hit his target a few times...but his target also shot him. So all his firepower did not help him.

The original claim was that an A5 could shoot 40bps. That has scene been proven wrong, but I still stand by that it shoots over 30bps. Look around YouYube to confirm your suspicions. As for the blender, all markers have that possibility. But in this case, a softer paddle and good paint will greatly reduce the rick.

You're video doesn't mean anything. That was like 25 bps max....

That's like saying all cars have a chance to randomly explode. Yeah, there's a chance, but it's less than 1%. I don't think my Marq6, through a half dozen cases, has chopped once. Granted, I've only run it on uncapped ramping once or twice, but it ran fine.

Any Tippmann, doing over 20bps, has to fire in bursts and needs to be recocked (like in the 'wild a5 video'). Besides, I'd LOVE to see what kind of damage that is doing to the sear.

My job is to be an asshole. I excel at the position.

can someone explain to me why "youtube" is never wrong, and what you see on youtube is 100% right and not alterred and all this other crap. I mean seriously its youtube, its got so much crap on there how can you say that this is truely shooting 40bps and that one is shooting 34bps. It's crap. I agree with everyone here saying that shooting a tippy anywhere over 25bps is going to cause so many problems, including but not limiting too, blender, recocking constantly, and only half recycling. Its a joke....sorry this is seriously a joke and I can't believe how long this whole thread has gone on for.

I must've missed that one since I tend to avoid any of the flatline hype. But I'm curious now
