Its all about preference towards looks with the Tippmann U.S. Army Guns.
And like Ken Dawg said, They all run off the same Blue Prints (The 98 Custom) and are all simple, yet useful guns. Durable, well built. (I would get one to use as a back up.)
However, they are still the same.
So it all comes down to what looks better for you, or what gun you think would work best with your style.

Besides the looks, stocks etc. I would personally get the project Salvo becus it can be upgraded to have a cyclone system unlike the Alpha Black.

The Alpha black can be upgraded with a cyclone feed system just like the Project Salvo.
