howdie all,i was wondering what the proper way on go'n bout attaching an old wooden foregrip to an aluminum paintball barrel
any suggestions?

Well, would it work within your plans to have something go around the barrel? Or do you just want it sort of "glued" on? The best "glue" I can think of would be JB Weld or some similar epoxy. But really, you probably want a more substantial attachment method than that.

there are some great 2 part epoxies out there that you have to mix together ... i have seen them sold at hardware stores and they come together ... lots of time with a joined plunger so that you dispense the same amount of glue and epoxy to mix easily , and they work great

Hose clamps. Some bending and modifying of the grip may be involved, but it would be very strong.

I used a pvc pipe to make a 1/4 long ring to lock my FAL foregrips in position.
