Hey guys im thinking about buying a proto slg..... and i had some question

1) Do you like it
2) The newer versions have a color coded oring kit right? ( I heard that in a video)
3) What type of HPA tank is best to use
4)What upgrades should i make(if any)

I am also considering a PMR...... but i dont like the price hike.....

the X7 thread was kinda a troll but in all seriousness my mom found out he was gonna buy a $1000 marker and said no and only let me spend up to 300 so i got an SLG......

I just bought one. I cant tell you any comments about it but a guy that works in a repair shop for paintball guns told me they are one of the best reliable guns.

i played all day with it yesterday...... no chops or breaks but it jammed three or four times..... i just have to press the bleed valve

I own one myself and I have noticed that during the break-in period the efficiency is pretty bad, but once you're stuff is all broken-in, you should be good to go.

Btw, where in the world can I find eye plates for this thing?

Yep, what he said, I've played with mine a few times, only had it jam once on bad paint. Both my gun and hopper were almost dead, so that might've been a factor, changed the batteries after that game, never happened again. They advertise, getting like 1500 shots on a 68/45, but until its broken in, only expect between 1000-1300.

I love her! Pretty much the same comments as above, during the break in phase she is kinda a pig, and I found that if you get low on batteries she likes to jam and I also had a couple incidents where she doubled fired and broke paint, but I changed the battery and cleaned the eyes and we are all good.

dont waste your money. Get a used g3 or an 06 ego. Better markers and around the same price.

if you want a proto go with a PM or a PMR (they are the same thing.. one has the UL frame) the SLG has bolt issues.. proto is good about fixing the problem but why should you have to send a brand new marker in to get fixed after a few times of play

That was only on most of the original models. As far as i know, most of the late 09's and 10's were pretty much fixed. Unless you're referring to something other than the seating problem they had?
