i have noticed that there is not very many (if any) reviews about grenades in this sectionso here it is

EDIT: ok grenade not too much of a blast radius but if you can angle it perfectly then u can probally get them but

design................... 4/5 looks like a real greande
shape/carriability.....4/5 eh

overall...................4/5 its ok but not the best

squadbuster

pretty good product. very good blast radius. good spread of a radius. i liked the fact that you can remove the netting BEFORE you throw it to get a wider sread of paint. color was poorly chosen it needs to be a brighter color like pink or yellow or something like that. but if you get hit with this......you will know it.

design.......................3/5 this looks eh'ish
shape/carriability........3/5 fits nicely into a breast/coat pocket
pressure....................4/5 as you hold it you can just feel the pressurized, compressed paint inside it.
blast radius................3/5 had about a 2.5ft radius (thickly marked) another2ft of thin markings

overall.......................3.25/5 good product. but not perfect

are you serious?????? EXPLOSIVE PAINT GRENADES!!!!!!!!!! wow i cant believe it. its the "back when i was a kid" stories all over again. i mean how did these things even come about?? i think it went a little something like this.....

"Hey i know what we can do!"
"whats that?" 
"LETS THROW EXPLOSIVES AT EACH OTHER !!!!!"
ALRIGHT!!! That doesn't sound dangerous at all"

ok so maybe that was exagerating but where is the market for these things? they are a major safty hazzard with goggles and almost all your equipment *(gun, pods containing a good $30 in paint, ect.)* i mean i can see smokes.
*the reason i say this is i mean imagine it you are sent on a strong side attack with u and ur squad on weak. u come across an ambush and u and a partner are the only ones left in ur squad u hear a clearence squad coming thru to clean up the leftovers(you) of the ambush so u set up ur own ambush and they notice you and throw a grenade towards you it explodes right next to ur gogs. the paint flies out and cracks ur gogs( not just from the paint.......from the firecracker size explosion and the "rocks" of paint that flie out) 
design.............................3/5 
shape/carriability..............3.5/ 5can fit in almost any pocket
pressure..........................N/A
blast radius......................1/5 paint tends to fly out in chunks and doesn't spray leading to minimum markability

overall................................2.5/5 wouldn't use/recommend/carry/buy or spread good word about.

this review is based off of personal opinion and experience while this is ment to educate you the reader it is also just MY OPINION not fact.

If you're trying to take a building or a room that you know people are hiding in, but they're not showing themselves, and you know if you run in there people will be singing "oh christmas tree" when you come back out covered in hits, use a grenade. I have used them. They work.

It should be added that I prefer the Big Boys to any other grenades. Squadbusters have a tendancy not to go off without a good solid surface to bounce on.

i havent played with one before but i have used them (tested at a baseball field) and like i said they are a major safty hazzard concerning ur goggle system no matter how small the charge is. and i will be updating this review list as i use/buy more grenades.

i have not found a store that sells big boys but im thinking of just ordering them off of tippmann. but i threw about three squadbusters in the last month and a half and i learned that if u throw them with a little force no matter were u are it will go off but the big boys, pod rockets, and the booby bombs are what im trying a store that sells them out here in nw indiana

Wow. Someone actually said the Tippmann Squadbuster is better than the BT grenade. lol .The BT grenade had obviously gone bad. Surely you don't think every BT grenade sold performs that way. I've seen many of them used and they all worked great. You just got a bad one. That happens with every grenade manufacturer. It's usually because they have been stored somewhere for a really long time then sold.

The Tippmann Squadbuster is the worst commercially made paint grenade you can buy. Mainly because the BBs are installed too far into the rubber tubing making them hard to activate. You can move them closer to the end of the tubing and they'll work much better.

You can't judge any commercially made grenade after using just one or two. You just don't know how old they are or how they've been stored. I've had several of the Tippmann Big Boy grenades that were crap but most of the time they work pretty good. The worst thing about them is the crappy shrink wrap safety. Once removed you can't put it back on. Not good if you remove the shrink wrap then realize your target has moved or you come under heavy fire, etc. Grenades need to have a replaceable trigger.

The funny thing is, the best grenades I've ever used have been homemade. I've been making my own grenades for years. I made a filling machine and I cut my own trigger rings from PVC and PEX pipe on a special saw made just for this purpose. I know alot of people play at fields that don't allow homemade grenades. That would really suck.

Give the BT grenades another chance. They're a good product.

thats the thing tho ive tried multiple times cuz i no that there are deffinatly deformed/carelessly stored products and that is wat i thot but me and my friends used about 4 or 5 from diff stores and they all did the same thing oozed paint outwe even bout some from our local field i think the thing about the squadbusters is that we have all been/are baseball pitchers:P so i think that might have an effect on how we throw/how they respond

I would say the SpecOps F-bombs are my favorite. Then the BT's. I HATE squadbusters.

Well, hmmm..... Maybe BT has changed thier grenade fill to something of lower quality. If you've used several with the same results something's wrong. That a shame, when those grenades first came out they were great. They were the only commercially made grenades I would buy.

The Tippmann Big Boy grenades aren't bad but grenades need to have a REPLACEABLE SAFETY and you just can't put that shrink wrap back on. Worst grenade safety on the market.

I didn't mind the Tippmann Squadbuster back before I started making my own grenades. I would just clamp off the hose, move the BBs close to the end of the hose, and put the cap and pin back on. That makes them work fine.

I highly recommend making your own grenades. They just work so much better than anything on the market and they cost less than $1.00 each. Once you make the filling machine you can pump out as many grenades as you like. I even make the big fat round grenades using the same tubing as the Tippmann Big Boy grenades but I have a much better safety and trigger design.

I just shipped 120 grenades to Florida.

ya i started making my own around 4 or 5 months ago and i do like the dual chamber design likie the squad busters but i like making them myself alot betta my team finally found an ambush sniper so i am starting to make mines like the booby bomb

cmon peepl! 180 views and 10 replys! 6 of which i was in a conversation with dvlchld! i want your input so i can further evaluate grenades! hater comments, advice on what to buy this is for commercial grenades yes i make my own but occasionally u get that stickler at a field that wont let u use homemades! cmon!

Yea, alot of fields won't let you use homemade grenades. That's one of the reasons for the new grenades I'm working on. They are homemade EXACT copies of the Tippmann Big Boy grenades. Side by side you won't be able to tell the difference.
